Skarlette Music Duo are a Somerset-based acoustic duo specialising in piano and vocal performances for weddings and events. Charlotte and Skye both graduated from university with music degrees and are the talented musicians behind this melodic duo. The passion these seasoned performers have for their craft is evident in every note. Charlotte and Skye would be delighted to serenade you and your guests on your special day.

Create the ideal ambience for each element of your special day with the magical piano vocal arrangements of Skarlette Music Duo. Their heartfelt ballads would be an enchanting background to your ceremony, with their soulful and jazzy tunes providing the desired elegant atmosphere of a champagne reception. Skye and Charlotte can also entertain throughout your meal with upbeat pop songs to elevate the mood. Skarlette Music Duo have a wide-ranging repertoire, including songs from Stevie Wonder, Eva Cassidy, Harry Styles, U2, Coldplay, and Adele. They will provide their own PA system, keyboard, and microphones, which can also be used for the speeches. What is included in the wedding package?

We offer a range of packages, including both ceremony and reception packages (music for guests entering, entrance of the bride, singing of the register and wedding exit, drinks music and first dance)

How far in advance should I contact you?

We are happy to take bookings as late as 1 month before the event as long as we are available, but usually have our clients on the books for 4-12 months in advance!

Is it possible to request something that's not in the repertoire?

Yes! If we get requests during the gig, we are happy to play them if we know the tune! If you would like to request a special song before hand, we can learn this specially for you!

What's your experience?

We have a wide range of performance experience in a range of settings such as at weddings, restaurants, bars, prestigious hotels and venues such as Komedia, Moles, Bath Guildhall etc

Do you have your own equipment?

Yes

Do you need specific materials or conditions to offer your service?

Yes, all we need is a small covered space (protection from weather) with access to power (one plug socket)

Can you travel?

Yes, we are based in Somerset and the South West, but are willing to travel further if needed!

Is there a charge for travelling?

Yes, we add a small travel fee to cover petrol costs if the venue is far away

Do you cover more than one wedding a day?

Yes

Do you work alone or do you have a team of professionals?

Alone

What is the length of time of the act?

We usually adjust our timings to the needs of the client. Whether that be one song, or two sets of 45 minutes, we are happy to fill your day with music as you require!

How much time do you need to prepare for an act?

Our set up time is usually between 30-60 minutes, so we like to arrive with plenty of time to prepare our equipment so there are no issues with logistics, sound etc

Do you do open-air acts?

No

Do you charge per hour or per event?

Per event

If needed, would you be able to work extra hours?

Yes

How do you charge extra time?

If we are required for longer than previously agreed, we are happy to discuss an appropriate fee for this. This can be settled on the day of the event, or via an invoice post event

What are the forms of payment?

Our usual payment method will involve an invoice via email, in which details are included for bank transfer. Although, we are also open to cash payments on the day of the event if that works better

Most beautiful sound I could hope for!

Charlotte and Skye were absolute wonderful on all comms before the wedding. They were super flexible, even when I booked them with short notice! On the day, they made it exactly what I wanted it to be: romantic, heartfelt and intimate. They were super professional (and they sounded incredible - I actually have no words to describe what amazing musicians they are).

Totally fantastic

Skarlette were a delight to meet, very helpful and accommodating. They learned the John Denver song “For You” for our first dance and their singing of this was utterly brilliant.
They are an amazing duo and a joy to have playing at any event.

Absolutely incredible!

I can’t recommended skarlette music duo enough.
They were so helpful throughout the whole planning experience. They made me a bespoke package to cater for what we needed. They sent me a demo of my song which was so lovely as made me soo excited to hear it in person. Although my mind was preoccupied with trying not to trip down the aisle, the girls voices were absolutely incredible and made it so hard to keep the tears at bay. I can’t thank you both enough 🤍🤍🤍

Absolutely amazing!

Skarlette are absolutely amazing and completely blew us away in every respect. They are lovely, bubbly and brilliant musicians. We had some quite niche song choices which we know Skarlette put so much effort in to learn and make their own and delivered an amazing performance which made the ceremony so special. They were really friendly and helpful when we booked them and talked through the plans and were really easy to communicate with right up until the day of the wedding. Highly recommend and promise they will add something so special to your wedding so book now!

Amazing Duo, Highly Recommend!

Charlotte and Sky are both outstanding ladies. Beautiful in looks, personality and vocals! We didn't give them a lot of notice for our wedding but they were happy to fit us in. They learnt our first dance song without hesitation (which was absolutely beautiful), they communicated with us from start to finish with such ease (especially on the day) and they even let me sing a song with them! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this beautiful duo and we will certainly use them again for future events! Xo

Wedding Music (breakfast + first dance)

We got married at the start of this month and had Skarlette Duo for our wedding breakfast music. They were fab from start to finish! We also asked them to sing our first dance song (and remix it slightly) and they sent it to us a few days before so we could practise. They were perfect and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Thanks again both! X
