I was so impressed with Alan and Darren at Soundwave. I am really into music and I was worried about how the things I like would gel with "what works at weddings". However, Soundwave's process made it really easy. They provided a really simple document that allowed me to articulate the sort of stuff that would make me happy, and then on the night they did a brilliant job of blending my tastes with things that the crowd responded to. As the evening drew on, Darren played some absolute bangers that I would never have been brave enough to ask for - and he made the right choice! I loved it from start to finish.
We hosted the event in our garden and although we were certain the power supply would be good enough to work, it did give out once. It was completely our fault - but Darren sprung into action to help us get everything working again, which he really didn't need to do. I'm glad he did though, because the party was up and running in no time. Thank you Darren for a fantastic night!

Alan was fantastic! He was able to read the dance floor and played exactly the right songs for the moment. Our dance floor was never empty and everyone had the best evening.

We cannot thank Alan and his team enough for everything they did for us on our wedding day and leading up to. Alan’s communication was brilliant answered all our questions quickly and made everything very easy. The magic mirror was a great addition and lots of fun. All the little touches of the up lighting and massive Mrs and Mrs all look great and the disco was amazing our DJ kept the party going all night! Right from first contact, we could not be any happier with Alan. We touched base regularly on the lead up to our big day to ensure he had the right flavour of what we desired music wise, and smashed it out the park on the day. We had many guests commenting how great the music was. We also hired the LOVE letters, and the sweet cart, which were lovely additions. We couldn't recommend enough, Alan was great!

Alan was super helpful right from the first email. He was very quick to reply and organised a speaker for us to borrow for the day as well. The wireless speaker was fantastic for playing music in the background and for speeches. Sam was our DJ. He arrived and promptly set up with no issues. He played the music on our must have list and took lots of requests from the guests. My husband and I spend most of the night dancing. The venue also commented on how professional Sam was and said she would add the company to her recommendations. Thank you again Alan and Sam!

We spoke with Alan, who was the exact person who was with us on the day.

He was always kind and quick in his messages, we immediately felt at ease with him. He was extremely accommodating and answered any questions we had.
We had a very laid back wedding and struggled to provide Alan with exact times but he made it work amazingly. He went with our tone of the day and didn’t push us into anything we didn’t want.

I was very worried about my music selection as I have very precise taste and only wanted certain songs played, Alan did not make me feel like a diva, but instead enjoyed the music we chose with us. I annoyingly asked for all mamma Mia tracks, but only the film versions and not the ABBA versions and he did exactly that for me!

We used the outdoor speaker for our ceremony music with Bluetooth to Spotify on a phone and also during the day drinks. Worked a dream.
Later in the evening we had the white display, so pretty and I even requested white lights not coloured but I did say I wasn’t worried if this couldn’t be done. Alan did everything :)

He was such good fun to have included in our day and I could not recommend him enough, we sent him home with sweet treats and some cider - wish we had more to give!

Alan was fantastic, we hired lawn games from him for our wedding in April and they were such a huge hit! Not only with our younger guests, but the older ones too - definitely money well spent. Our younger guests were so happy playing that they were lovely and smiley for photographs and had had a cracking afternoon by the time food came around. Alan himself was professional, helpful and did an amazing job setting up for us at the venue, leaving them until the next morning so that some of the children had a sneaky extra play with the games after breakfast. He was really helpful and supportive on the lead up to the wedding too and the booking process was really easy. I'd thoroughly recommend Soundwave Entertainments and would happily use them for any large family events in the future.

We hired the sweet cart, a set of light-up LOVE letters, & the Magic Mirror photobooth from Soundwave Entertainments, and they were all an amazing addition to our special day!
Abbie was with us in the evening, and kept the photos coming! She made sure the guests knew what to do, and made sure they wrote in the album she made for us, which is full of wonderful memories - cannot thank you enough, and would definitely recommend!!

We met Alan and Abbie at a wedding fayre and really liked the love letters they had. We decided to add the magic mirror as well and they gave us a really good price. Alan answered all our questions really quickly and sent extra photos to be able to see the exact set up before the day. On the day Abbie manned the photobooth and managed to grab us for some photos which i'm pleased or we would have forgotten! Just wish i'd used it more but the time went too quickly. Would highly recommend.

Having moved our wedding 6 times, Alan and the team were so good about moving our evening reception entertainment without any quibbles or fuss.

We finally got our wedding disco and magic mirror experience on 2 Jan 2022 and it was just as great as we expected. The music - a medley of 70s, 80s and 90s interspersed with requests from our guests was great! And everyone commented on how good the music was - it got everyone on the dance floor!

The magic mirror was a great success and getting an album of all the pictures taken was a lovely momento.
