Music makes memories, and Simon Partridge has been helping couple make memories with his beautiful songs since 2006. His repertoire of vintage jazz adds real magic to any part of the day.

Simon is honoured to be a part of each couple’s special day and approaches each event with a high level of professionalism. All of the songs that he performs are from the 1920s to the 1940s. From Gatsby Glitz to Classic Hollywood, his music selection will fit into vintage-themed and contemporary weddings with ease. With over 150 songs in his repertoire, Simon is dedicated to lending a romantic atmosphere to any special event. All equipment will be provided including vintage-style microphone, a professional sound system, and Gloria, a fabulous replica HMV wind-up gramophone.

What is included in the wedding package?

My basic package is 2-hours. That's usually two 50-minute sets with a 20-minute interval (during which I provide background music from the same era) but can be tailored to suit or extended

How far in advance should I contact you?

Once you have a venue and date booked then give me a call. A 50% deposit will secure my services for your wedding with the balance payable on the day

I have been performing as The Vintage Singer since 2006 backed up with 40-years' experience performing in public

Do you need specific materials or conditions to offer your service?

No

Can you travel?

Yes, i'm based in Lichfield, Staffs but cover the entire UK

Is there a charge for travelling?

Yes, travel to venues up to 50-miles from WS149AR is included. Additional mileage is charged at 50p-per-mile

Do you cover more than one wedding a day?

No

Do you work alone or do you have a team of professionals?

Alone

What is the length of time of the act?

The basic package is 2-hours, but I can sing for as long as you needle

How much time do you need to prepare for an act?

I usually need an hour to set up my equipment and get changed, but I can do it in less depending on the circumstances. If you're not sure, just ask!

Do you do open-air acts?

Yes

Do you charge per hour or per event?

Per event

How do you charge extra time?

Each additional 30-minutes costs £110

What are the forms of payment?

Deposit is payable by bank transfer or cheque. The balance can be paid by bank transfer, cheque or cash on the day

Lovely voice

Simon is the most charming man you could meet and he sings beautifully.
We had him for post wedding breakfast to entertain our guests, it was mainly to entertain our more elderly guests but he had tocompete with noise of all our guests but he did an amazing job.
We were so pleased and honoured he came to our wedding

Amazing in every way!

Amazing in every way! Simon played during our wedding breakfast and he could not have been more perfect. I had so much going on with work prior to the wedding but completely trusted the playlist he proposed.

He arrived and set up without anyone noticing, started singing as we sat down for food which set the scene for such a relaxed and enjoyable evening...I will need to arrange another party just to have him back!

Totally recommended!

We totally recommend Simon to everyone who is looking for a touch of vintage style for their occasion. We found him online. We were looking for a 1920s/30s singer and he was perfect. Simon sang during our meal and made our wedding day really special. We were worried he wouldn’t be able to travel all the way to London, but he was more than happy. (Michelle and Nick)
