James & The Deps were an absolute joy to work with from start to finish. From being easily contactable, offering advice along the way, to an amazing performance on the big night, I could not recommend them more! James is a man who loves his job and it clearly shows - his excitement to make your day the best day ever is amazing. He helped us on so many aspects, from advice on the first dance, to providing us a backing track (as it was the same song as our first dance song) for my walk down the aisle.

The band on the day were amazing. I booked the acoustic set which James played himself, which was gorgeous! After dinner, we had the 5+1 saxophone band along with the DJ set. Immediately the dancefloor was filled and it stayed that way the whole night! While I don't want to give away spoilers for some fun things they have up their sleeves, the Deps bring an amazing atmosphere, from activities during the sets (non-cheesy that everyone enjoyed!) to props that had everyone jumping. The Deps pride themselves on not being a typical wedding band by not playing the typical wedding music, something they absolutely smash and I had so many people comment on how much they loved the more modern song choices, which especially during wedding season is very refreshing to be different than every other wedding! It was ideal to have both the band and the DJ sets within one supplier, they kept the music going seamlessly.

I honestly couldn't recommend them more! If you do book The Deps for your wedding, please invite me as I would love to see them play again!

I could talk all day about how incredible The Deps are. They’re all so friendly, talented and ALL of our friends & family commented after our wedding about how amazing they were! I had followed The Deps on Instagram for a long time and James was always quick to reply to any messages, and always happy to give some advice on planning a wedding, even on things outside of the music! James; you’re the best! What meant the most was that they were happy to learn a new song and sang it live for our first dance; it was perfect and we couldn’t have asked for more. We will definitely be recommending this band to everyone we know.

The Deps played at our wedding last year and were at the heart of the awesome party that it turned into. We had the ultimate DJ sax set during desserts, James was incredibly organised and stress-free dealing with everything and very flexible with accommodating everything we wanted on the day. The band is so talented and sleek. We have had this band play at my Mum’s 50th too, and will likely book them for future family events. So, yes, we very much rate The Deps as the ultimate band for any function. Modern and cool and a MUST for a wicked party.

James, the band members and his team were all fantastic from start to finish. James, front man of The Deps was extremely professional, always available to speak to in the lead up, took the stress right out of the night by working with us in choosing the right songs, the lighting, the set up and the mood for the evening and providing really helpful and knowledgeable advice. All of the songs were played brilliantly the sound was fantastic. The Deps played at our wedding and made the night very memorable indeed! They even accommodated me to sing a song to my wife which was really special and not something other wedding showbands do, so a huge thank you from us James. 100% recommend.

From the first meeting where James got to know us and the kind of day we wanted, to the actual performance and night of the wedding, they were first class: talented, generous, understanding and just gave everyone a great time. I would get married all over again just for the Deps! The band were extraordinary - more than anything on the day, they made the wedding for me (which considering how amazing the venue is, is saying something). Both sets filled my heart with joy, especially the second set when the brass players came on to the dance floor for some Avicii! James and Kate were superb. All our friends commented on what an amazing party they, and the whole band, created. I cannot recommend the Deps enough - if you watch their showreel, it undersells just how excellent they are.
