We are The Duplettes and we love to make sure the music for your day is on point. Whether it's daytime wedding ceremonies and drinks receptions or evening parties, we will make sure that you and your guests have the best entertainment.

We pride ourselves on making sure that we have great communication with the couples we work with so we're always happy to arrange calls and answer any questions you might have.

We've played at hundreds of weddings so we know how important it is for you to get the entertainment right.

The Duplettes are a fun and experienced wedding band based out of Higham Ferrers, Northamptonshire.

We have performed at some of the most well-known venues across the UK and Europe, including the O2 Arena, Ascot Racecourse, Silverstone, Claridges, The Ned, the Savoy, and many more.

The band is available in 4 lineups to suit different parts of your day.

  • Acoustic Duo: perfect for wedding ceremonies and drink receptions
  • Cocktail Trio: perfect for drink receptions
  • Electric Medley Duo: perfect for evening parties - nothing but mashups and medleys to keep everyone on the dancefloor
  • Party Band: 5-piece party band with an optional sax player for the extra wow factor!

Packages are available, including music for the whole day (ceremony, drinks & evening).

Our repertoire includes soul, pop, rock, dance, and classic hits from yesterday and today, meaning we can always hit the right note for your big day.

What is included in the wedding package?

We offer an Acoustic Duo, Cocktail Trio, Electric Medley Duo and a Party Band to cover any part of the day. Our prices include all the necessary PA equipment and travel so there's no hidden costs!

How far in advance should I contact you?

We usually take bookings between 2-18 months in advance of the wedding date. But we do sometimes have last minute availability so its worth asking!

Our repertoire is always growing and it currently includes around 4 hours of music spanning the decades plus contemporary hits. We love RnB, pop, soul, disco, funk and everything in between

Is it possible to request something that's not in the repertoire?

Yes, we take requests for ceremonies and we are also happy to learn your first dance when the band is booked for the evening reception

What's your experience?

We have been performing at weddings and parties all over the UK and Europe since 2011. In that time we have played at Wembley Stadium, Ascot Racecourse, The O2 Arena, Claridge's Hotel and The Savoy

Do you have your own equipment?

Yes

Do you need specific materials or conditions to offer your service?

Yes, access to a 13amp (standard) power supply. Cover if asked to perform outside

Can you travel?

Yes, london, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Essex, Oxfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Buckinghamshire, Kent, Surrey, Northamptonshire. We're also available for weddings abroad

Is there a charge for travelling?

Yes, for bookings over 2 hours away we charge a petrol charge and for bookings more than 3 hours away we may need to add an accommodation charge

Do you cover more than one wedding a day?

Yes

Do you work alone or do you have a team of professionals?

Alone

What is the length of time of the act?

Our usual performance is around 100 mins which we usually split into 2 x 50 mins or 20, 40, 40 split

How much time do you need to prepare for an act?

For our duo and trio we only require 40 mins to set up but for the full band it can take 90 minutes

Do you do open-air acts?

Yes

Do you charge per hour or per event?

Per event

If needed, would you be able to work extra hours?

Yes

How do you charge extra time?

We are happy to negotiate extra hours and offer package deals for customers wanting music for more than one part of the day

What are the forms of payment?

We take bank transfer in advance of the wedding date

Wonderful music throughtout our day - made it so special!

The Duplettes started off the live music by playing as a trio for our drinks reception - perfect vibe. We then had the full 6-piece band play in the evening and starting with our first dance which was so special! All our guests loved it and they even sent us a recording of the first dance to use with our wedding videos.

Fabulous band

Best money we spent

I came across the Duplettes on their Instagram ad and we’re so glad we did! I had been talking to another band for over a month but had to go through their manger each time I wanted to ask a question. As soon I made initial contact, Jim got back to me right away. It was so refreshing talking to someone from the band and within 2 weeks we had booked them as a four-piece band with a sax. Communication with Jim was excellent, and he was always on hand to answers questions and calls. On the day the band were amazing, and our first song was sung so beautifully. All our guests loved the band. The songs they sung were all upbeat and got everyone moving. Thank you so much Duplettes for making our day so special! If you’re thinking about booking a band these guys will not disappoint!
