We hired These guys for our wedding in August. From first contact, the communication was outstanding, Ian was always very responsive and accommodating. They learnt our first dance song, which made it that extra special and felt really personal! They really got involved in the party, and brought so much fun to our wedding, everybody has commented on how great they were! Absolutely no regrets!

From the day we first booked them Ian kept in contact with us throughout the months leading up to our big day. The performance they put on at our wedding was absolutely amazing, guests of all ages were up dancing. Great selection of songs. One of the highlights for us was that the band took the time to learn our first dance. We as a couple will never forget that! Having the band helped complete our amazing day. When all your guests ask how we chose the band and the man running our photo booth comes and asks saying “I’ve been to a lot of weddings and this is one of the best bands I have ever heard”, Just confirms what a success they were. We recommend to all and will definitely use them again for family celebrations. Thank you so much

We waited a few days to write this review on account of all of the clearing up we’ve done since our Wedding party. This is relevant because it means I am not writing this on a high - it’s objectively true...

The Fireflies have been literally phenomenal from day ONE of enquiry.

Their communication has been faster than anyone I think we’ve ever worked with. They put solicitors, practitioners, contractors and even accountants to shame in terms of their promptness and professionalism. I cannot stress this enough.

We were left with no questions, their user friendly communication and questionnaires answered questions we didn’t even realise we had yet. Their communication between booking to event date was regular and friendly. This took any stress we could have had in planning a band away - meaning we could concentrate on everything else to plan.

On planning: our wedding party itself was amazing. The band - namely; Ian - coordinated everything for us! Cutting of the cake / first dance / blessing - everything. It was like having a showbiz, extremely talented musician also acting as an on the night events planner!

The show set up was WAY above what we expected. The lights turned our hall into a legitimate show - and it seemed like they managed to do this without any interruption all the while playing some great music to keep our guests entertained.

Oh my goodness - they were PHENOMENAL on stage. They had the people dancing ALL evening. I don’t think I’ve seen 3 encores at a wedding 😂 - but it was at least 3 plus DJ sets that only inspired more dancing and singing!

The only regret is that we don’t have another event lined up that we can invite them to play.

If anyone is looking for an extremely good band, excellent performance, fantastic taste in music, the friendliest of people and next level professionalism - these are your team.

Thank you for putting the magic into our special day. Honestly couldn’t have asked or hoped for more.

Where do I start.. words cannot and will never be able to explain how great these guys truly are. I came across them online whilst searching for a band for our wedding and immediately knew I had to have them on the day!

Initially, I knew there was a slight logistical issue as we were getting married in Jersey! but Ian was immediately up for the challenge to make sure they played for us on our special day. From start to finish, ferries to accommodation, he was amazing and so attentive making sure everything was perfect.

We are so blessed to have met you all and to have shared our special day with you. We haven’t spoken to one wedding guest that didn’t mention how amazing the band were. Genuinely think you guys were the highlight of the day rather than the ceremony 🤣 We had so much fun and laughter the whole evening. Couldn’t have wished or dreamed for better entertainment. You made our day, you really did. We will remember it forever.

I honestly can't recommend these guys enough, helpful and supportive in the lead up to everything and then when they actually started playing, amazing! Interacted with all of our guests and absolutely smashed it.

Our wedding was the most perfect day and these guys made it more perfect than I could have imagined. Their energy is infectious and every guest commented on how brilliant they were. The attention to detail was second to none. This will certainly be a day that will be remembered.

Without doubt the best band you can book, I cannot recommend them more highly. A fantastic selection of songs, their performance is tight, professional and fun. Their vocals are incredible and can turn their hands to so many genres. They had everyone of all ages up and dancing along. Very easy going to deal with at booking and kept in touch throughout.
