"THE GOLDEN FLUTE" is an accomplished, musical duo, of Flute and Guitar, based in Shropshire. However, we are willing to travel to nearby counties, which is negotiable. As a duo, we are Naomi and myself, Jacob. We have known each other and played music together for over ten years. We originally met, when Naomi joined my 'Ellesmere Vintage Band' as the solo flute player. Naomi has been playing the flute since she was seven, as she reveals in our conversation in our 'introductory' video. Naomi, currently, plays in the Shrewsbury Concert Band, The Welsh TV and Film Orchestra and also in a local Trio that plays music for different charities.

I have had a musical background all my life. I have played in Military Bands, and can play many instruments, including Guitars, most Brass Instruments, Piano and Piano Keyboard, Percussion and more lately Irish Whistles in different keys. I am a Singer/Songwriter with my own recording studio and have released two albums and two singles, on major streaming platforms since September 2024. I am retired now from Interfaith Ministry following my passion to work as a musician full-time.

THE GOLDEN FLUTE duo offers a personal, flexible approach, working with you to add a little magic to your special day, event or ceremony. This may be music during a meal, coming 'in' or 'out' of the wedding ceremony, providing background music or a meaningful piece of music played during your ceremony, perhaps, at the signing of the Marriage Register. We are able to play music around themes, such as, "Scottish, Irish, Folk, Film Scores, Musicals, Pop, Classical or something more, lively." Although we are a duo, we can create a 'big band sound,' when we play with our OWN backing tracks, that I have recorded in my studio before-hand, where I play all the other instruments. We can play 'live' with these supportive tracks or just as a Flute/ Guitar/ Piano Keyboard. You can see examples of us playing together in our videos on this website. We feel that what we can offer here, is quite a 'unique' musical menu.

Our fees are 'negotiable,' starting from £250, this fee depends on how far we have to travel to your venue, the contact time we are with you playing music, and any other 'special requirements' involved. We can promise to be highly professional, reliable, and we both come with a friendly, approachable manner. We would work with you to plan the music at your event to be "meaningful, magical and forever memorable" to you, your family and guests
