The London Jazz Duo comprises of Robin Porter on saxophone and Jack Gillen on guitar. These skillful musicians read the room and adapt their set, performing everything from Great American Songbook Jazz to funk/groove-based tunes and contemporary pop songs. With their vast repertoire, the London Jazz Duo will provide the perfect atmosphere for your special occasion/event.

Robin and Jack have both graduated with First Class Honours degrees in Jazz. Their commitment to this art is evident in the high-class performances they put on and the countless awards they have won. The London Jazz Duo is here to add that special magic to your big day. How far in advance should I contact you?

Whilst we do get very busy during the summer wedding season especially, we'd always encourage clients to get in touch for last minute bookings as we might be able to fit it around other events

What's your experience?

We have over 10 year’s experience and have performed at some of the UK’s top jazz venues including Ronnie Scott’s and the 606 Jazz Club as well as at countless weddings and private events

Is there a charge for travelling?

Yes, travel cost is typically calculated at £20 per hour (for a duo), plus fuel costs. There are additional charges for overnight stays and bookings abroad

Do you cover more than one wedding a day?

Yes

Do you work alone or do you have a team of professionals?

Alone

What is the length of time of the act?

We accept typically accept bookings ranging from 1 x 60 minute set to 4 x 45 minutes, but we're very happy to work around whatever else the client has planned

How much time do you need to prepare for an act?

Within 20-30minutes of arrival. For larger line-ups and bigger events, this may take a little longer. If you would like us to arrive much further in advance, this is possible at an additional cost
