We play all over East Sussex for weddings, celebrations and events. As well as performing as a quartet, we can play as a trio or duo to suit your needs.
The Martello Quartet first formed in 2014, initially as four professional players coming together to play a few concerts having met through playing together in various orchestras around Eastbourne. And out of this the Martello Quartet was born due to popular demand!
We are extremely versatile and as well as performing in evening dress playing classical music, we’re just as comfortable playing for parties and festivals performing folk right through to popular music, and it is this breadth of experience that make The Martello Quartet perfect for your day.
The quartet has an incredibly extensive repertoire which is well sourced and regularly updated, appealing to all ages and tastes.
