The Tailors Surprise Singers are a viral sensation, with over 100M views across their socials for their personalised performances! Recently featured on Newlyweds Podcast, they have performed at weddings and events all over the UK, Europe, and North America.
This London-based group takes the 'singing waiter' experience to new heights - not only do they go undercover to surprise all your wedding guests, but they change all the lyrics to be about the happy couple, their unique love story, and members of the wedding party.
Clips of their unforgettable performances often go viral on social media, because they have your guests belly laughing one moment, and in (good) tears the next! The act is incredibly clever, wholesome and funny... and the most common piece of feedback they receive is..."That was the BEST THING I've EVER SEEN at a wedding!"
Services Offered
All their packages involve bespoke personalisation of their sets to be all about you and your key guests. They offer 2, 3 and 4 Singer Packages, perform to guitar accompaniment because of their incredible mashups, and bring all their equipment with them.

What is included in the wedding package?
PREP: A consultation call to learn all about you, to plan the personalised piece, and bespoke lyrics
ON THE DAY: All setup prior to guest arrival, equipment, waitering, and the amazing surprise!
How far in advance should I contact you?
We take bookings up to 18 months in advance, and do get fully booked on key summer dates. We're a small and boutique team so best to contact us as soon as you can!

Is it possible to request something that's not in the repertoire?
We can definitely include your favourites! But some songs are suited to comedy personalisation, and others are not - so for the majority of the set, we’d ask you to trust us
What's your experience?
Our act has been running for 8 years, and have performed all over the UK. We've even performed at weddings in Europe and North America. Our previous corporate clients include Amazon, Red Bull & BMW
Do you have your own equipment?
Yes
Do you need specific materials or conditions to offer your service?
Yes, our team will need:
- Access to room for setup and soundcheck
- A small room at the venue in which to change
- Place settings on tables ideally
- A contact at the venue!
Can you travel?
Yes, based in London, but have travelled globally
Is there a charge for travelling?
Yes, this is calculated upon quoting
Do you cover more than one wedding a day?
No
Do you work alone or do you have a team of professionals?

What is the length of time of the act?
Not including the waitering prior, the act is about 20 minutes, but we say allow 30m in your wedding schedule
How much time do you need to prepare for an act?
Preparation typically takes a few weeks - we'll start planning the finer details with you about 4-6 weeks before your day. On the day, we allow 1.5 hours for our soundcheck and setup

What are the forms of payment?
We will send an invoice that can be paid online or via BACS. We take a 25% deposit and then the rest 14 days after your wedding

Above and Beyond our Expectations
We hired the tailors to perform at our wedding and it was by far the highlight of our day. From the very first contact we had with them they couldn’t be more friendly, they are so easy to deal with and the process is seamless. They went through so much detail with us of what we wanted to include and who is who and the performance reflected everything we had discussed. They managed to perfectly execute putting the spotlight on the people we mentioned in a funny and heartwarming way and they were just incredible. We genuinely cannot recommend them enough. They were amazing and all of our guests have been messaging us since the wedding telling us how great they were and how much they enjoyed it.

Genuine genius’s
We booked the Tailors after they came up
on my timelime amd we watched some more videos as we were amazed by their work, when we booked it we didnt think they would be able to do us as I thought our lives are not that funny. But they smashed it out the park and everybody loved it, I also loved the fact the took part in service topping up water and wines , 100000000% recommended

Absolute awesome and helped make our day extra special!!
It was an absolutely fantastic day and the amount of people that said to my wife and I how good Jem and Maddy were was unbelievable...they went down an absolute storm!!
We went to a wedding some 6 weeks previous to ours and they too had singing waiters who were also good but their songs were very generic and none of the songs made reference to any of their guests or even the bride and groom. It was therefore fantastic the way in which you took the detail that my daughter and I gave you and you then converted that into so many different songs (circa 8), that really flowed, and made so many people laugh!!
I could not recommend you, Jem and Maddy enough....absolutely fantastic ad really help to make our day so very special!!!

Created even more memories & laughter on our wedding day!
Absolutely amazing. I booked the Tailors Surprise Singers for our wedding (July 2023) and they did not disappoint.
The preparation was brilliant. A form to fill out and chat with Alex. Then regular communication as needed to finalise the finer details.
Alex worked with me to create the best surprise for my wife. I loved the fact they were open to me having ideas on how they could transition from waiters to singers. They didn't just support my vision, they embraced it! I pretended to sing (I can't!) a song and Josh jumped in to 'save me from further embarrassment'!
Every song was funny. Alex had learnt (very quickly!) where the relevant guests were sitting. The songs were just brilliant. I loved the way Alex and Josh managed to get a few words of Spanish in to the songs too.
Our guest loved it, everyone including 90year old grandma, were on their feet and singing along. A month later its still being spoken about as the best wedding entertainment.
It is also worth noting their commitment to their roles. We found out that they had a nightmare journey from London to Shropshire. They could have given up and refunded us, but they didn't. They both preserved and somehow got to the venue to set up and prepare.

Absolutely amazing!
Well… where do I start… booking the tailors surprise singers for our wedding day was 100% the best decision we made!! I’ve been watching their Instagram page and it all looked amazing, but on the day, they were even better than I could have imagined ❤️ the way they personalise everything is just incredible! Our only regret was not getting it filmed, however we do have some photos and the memories will last forever! Thank you so much Alex & Jem for being there on our social day and absolutely smashing it 🎉

The Tailors Surprise Singers were a huge hit, everyone loved them, it was so cleverly done making the songs personal. Way to up the secret singer game!! Thanks again Alex, the Bride and Groom will remember it forever!!
