Services Offered
Top Tunes Disco offers bespoke services tailored to each couple's wedding style. Soon-to-be-weds can arrange a playlist ahead of the day filled with all their favourites, with room for requests on the night. This experienced DJ can also provide a host of exciting extras, such as karaoke, mood lighting, and custom Gobo projections. Wedding packages are available for evening parties or full-day hosting with music for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and wedding banquet. Genres include popular music from the 1960s right through to current chart music, Reggaeton, Latin, and Afrobeats. The team is more than happy to source any new material not already in their impressive catalogue.

We have a wide range of music from 1960’s right through to current chart music. We also cover different ethnic music like Reggaeton, Latin and Afrobeats what music we don’t have we source on the night
Is it possible to request something that's not in the repertoire?
Definitely my job is to make everyone’s night if that means buying and downloading a song on the night I don't have then you can count on us to always go that extra mile

Established in 2004, I have been providing entertainment for Weddings and Events for over 19 years

Can you travel?
Yes, i cover all over Scotland and down in Cumbria. It's nice to play at different venues
Is there a charge for travelling?
Yes, this can be discussed on booking all costs are included in your package. We do not add any hidden charges
Do you cover more than one wedding a day?
No
Do you work alone or do you have a team of professionals?
Alone
What is the length of time of the act?
Depends on clients requirements. Our minimum package price is based on a 5 hour DJ set any extra hours will be charged on an hourly rate.
Evening packages start from £500
All day packages from £1000
How much time do you need to prepare for an act?
A minimum of 60 mins is required but where this isn't possible I will try to go as fast as I can to be setup and ready for your guests coming in

We can’t thank you enough for the job you did on our wedding night. It was seriously above and beyond awesome. The music was perfect, and we can’t tell you how many compliments we had from all of our guests. You really did an amazing job. We don’t think we’ve ever had that much fun at a wedding, and the music couldn’t have been more perfect. We appreciated the opportunity to talk with you a couple times prior to our wedding to go over details (especially details of our first dance 😊) and make sure we were comfortable moving forward . You’ve listened to our ideas, offered your suggestions, and assured us that our wedding would be a party to remember!

Best DJ for our wedding!
James made our experience easy, pleasurable and so enjoyable! I would book him again in a heartbeat if I had another event planned in the future. He was communicative, prompt with responding to things pre -wedding, and made us feel at ease throughout the whole process - scheduling phone calls months before the wedding, upto just one week before.
James managed to get everyone up and dancing the entire evening! The dancefloor was never empty - something that I had worried about previously - so it was a great success. He was super reassuring to me, as I was worried about things like first dances, and how to cater to such a wide audience with different music tastes. But it all worked out so much better than we could have imagined. Thank you so much James! :)

Dj for wedding
Ray was our DJ for our wedding in Gretna Green, he was brilliant from start to finish, the next day he contacted us and sent us all of his videos which we wasn't expecting and this was brilliant, highly recommended 👍

Awesome DJ!
James absolutely made the night for us. We had a small number of people at our wedding reception in Smith’s Gretna Green and James made it look we had double. The dance floor was full all night and we had so much fun.
We would recommend James (Top Tunes) without hesitation. He really made our reception a fun night.

Fantastic night!
We hired James for our wedding on the 28th September and we cannot thank him enough! James' communication was excellent and he was so accommodating with all our requests. The music was brilliant – exactly what we wanted! James played the songs we had asked for as well as taking requests from our guests. Thanks again for helping us have an amazing wedding day.

Above and Beyond Work
Really accommodating for the songs we wanted but also knew what songs would get the party started. A genuine guy who loves doing what he does and that was evident to all that attended our night do as everyone who was there said they had a fantastic time because of how great our DJ was.

James was fantastic, there was not a bad song played and he really took time to consider the music we love. I wasn’t off the dance floor once and I am so glad James was part of making our big day fun and special. He was professional, punctual and he is affordable. The perfect DJ
James was amazing from start to finish with us! We had requested a wide array of different music from country to the charts and throwbacks and everything was very well accommodated to! The music was fantastic - couldn't of asked for a better selection of songs. James arrived within plenty of time to set up, stayed very well in touch with us and always had fast replies! He was professional, fun, approachable and everyone had an absolute blast dancing to all the songs - so much so, some got up on the stage to dance to them🤣 i would highly recommend James to anyone looking for a fabulous, professional, friendly and affordable DJ - thank you so much James!!

Absolutely amazing - 100% would recommend
We are so so over the moon with James from Top Tunes Disco! We chose James early on in our wedding planning journey and he had a call with us to listen to our thoughts and was extremely accommodating. James responds very quickly, which is really reassuring, and he is the epitome of reliability. He played our song list and seamlessly took requests on the night, and he made our first dance unforgettable. James is also a lovely person and will make all occasions a very special one.
