About

Hey, we're the Unity String Quartet, a wedding music group based in Birmingham, West Midlands. Since 2007, we've loved nothing more than performing beautiful instrumental covers of well-known hits, instilling some added elegance to your special day. We are comprised of four seasoned, professional musicians who are masters of our instruments, with years of experience performing in wedding ceremonies, during drinks receptions or as part of wedding breakfasts. Couples have the option to hire the full quartet or a trio if preferred.

Services Offered

Unity String Quartet would love to discuss your desires for your wedding and will happily travel to your venue. Four professional string musicians can be available, or a trio can perform at a reduced price. Couples can browse the groups' repertoire to hand-select the soundtrack for their magical event.

What is included in the wedding package?

Unity is able to customise and adapt their packages to suit the needs of your day. They are happy to discuss this all with you prior to booking

How far in advance should I contact you?

There is no timeline, although for peak days we do sometimes book up more than a year in advance. It's always best to get in touch sooner rather than later

Is it possible to request something that's not in the repertoire?

Sometimes, yes. For an additional fee, we can include new songs, so long as they are in keeping with the style of music we play. This must be agreed with us prior to booking

The quartet have years worth of experience performing at weddings between them having formed way back in 2007

What is the length of time of the act?

This can be changed according to your needs, but a two-hour performance would be the standard for us

How much time do you need to prepare for an act?

Set up time can vary depending on the venue and where we are being asked to play, but normally no longer than half an hour

Do you do open-air acts?

Yes

Do you charge per hour or per event?

Per event

If needed, would you be able to work extra hours?

Yes

How do you charge extra time?

This will need to be discussed with our management team prior to your booking

What are the forms of payment?

Our standard payment terms are very simple. 50% non-refundable deposit at the time of booking and the remaining 50% of the balance is due 28 days before the performance

Absolutely wonderful!

The string quartet were absolutely fabulous! They played so many up to date songs they had everyone loving them. I didn't want anything too classical or religious so I was very pleased with their play list when they sent it. They made my ceremony so magical. Thank you Unity String Quartet

Highly Recommend!

We booked Unity for our wedding ceremony and drinks reception, and we couldn’t be happier with our choice. They were truly one of the highlights of the day, and so many of our guests commented on how much they enjoyed the music. Their wide repertoire meant there was something for everyone to enjoy! The booking and planning process was seamless, and we felt they offered great value for the incredible atmosphere they created. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them!
