Emma from Violin for Weddings has more than 15 years experience of playing at weddings and also as a professional violinist performing, touring and recording with a wide range of artists in the UK and Europe.

Violin for Weddings can perform solo violin for both church and civil ceremonies, playing a wide range of pop,classical, folk, jazz and film themes. Popular choices are A Million Dreams, Ed Sheeran’s Perfect, A Thousand Years, All of Me by John Legend, Can’t Help Falling In Love, Hallelujah, A Whole New World and Beauty & The Beast. Emma can also play solo for proposals, anniversaries, drinks receptions and dinner music.
The violin and acoustic guitar duo, which is ideal for both church and civil ceremonies and receptions, parties, functions and corporate events, play a wide range of music including pop, jazz, rock, film & Disney themes, classical and folk.
For drinks receptions, parties, wedding breakfasts and evening receceptions, our jazz duo (violin & guitar), trio (violin,guitar,double bass) or four piece Hot Club/ Gypsy Jazz style quartet (violin,2 guitars,double bass) is a great choice. This is the perfect music for vintage themed weddings or to create a welcoming and joyful atmosphere for your guests while you have photographs taken.

How she works
During the booking process Emma will offer advice and guidance on the different options and on music choices. There is a large song-list to choose from and special requests for ceremonies can also be catered for.
On the day, set up time is 30-45 minutes. A one hour booking will usually be enough to cover a civil ceremony, and 60 -90 minutes for a church ceremony. Drinks and evening receptions are also catered for with flexible timings to suit the client's needs.
