Hello, I'm Abbi-Kaye aka Viva la Vintage,
A vintage style singer based in Yorkshire. And by vintage singer, I mean that I perform the biggest hits throughout the eras spanning as far back at the 1920s. With genres such as jazz, swing, rock n roll, soul, blues and all that's in-between for wedding couples and events all across the UK.
However, as a modern gal myself working within the wedding industry, I'm aware of the stereotype of "outdated and unfashionable" that vintage can sometimes receive, despite the fact that retro music is still so dearly loved by couples and guests everywhere. So by including couple's special requests and era altering covers from Post-Modern Jukebox, vintagey-fying artists such as Harry Styles and Amy Winehouse. And by dancing in my platform docs and more updated, sometimes slightly alternative aesthetic (heels are also acceptable). Viva la Vintage is here to re-defining clichés and make old school feel cool again.

Viva La Vintage - Simply The Best
We booked Viva La Vintage to sing during our drinks reception at our February 2024 wedding. Throughout the entire process, she was professional, friendly, had great communication and made the whole experience in the lead up to the big day so easy, even arranging an in-person meeting so we could chat. Once it came to the day, we really couldn't have asked for anyone better to perform for us and our guests. Her style suited us and our venue down to the ground and she allowed us to choose all the songs we wanted from her set list, meaning every number was something we loved. She learned a song that is really special to us which was a beautiful version of the Goo Goo Dolls song, Iris, and we absolutely loved it. We had so many comments from our guests and even our other suppliers on how talented she was and how perfectly she fitted with our whole vibe on the day. Thank you for making our day so special and for being a massive part of it. We couldn't recommend Viva La Vintage highly enough to any other couples looking for a singer for any part of their day. You and your guests will be so glad you booked her!

AMAZING performance!
Viva la vintage was amazing from start to finish. Learning not one but two Christmas songs for us, singing the father daughter dance, creating the perfect set list and even liasing with our band. That is before her amazing vocals. So many of our guests have said how fabulous Viva La Vintage was and we are so glad she was available to sing on our wedding. Get her booked you will not regret it!

Viva la WOW!!!
Before you read any more of this review, know that having the lovely Abbi, Viva La Vintage, perform at your wedding or any event is a MUST!!!! Wow! We were blown away. From start to finish, Abbi was there to guide us through the process and put together a personalised order of our day.
Abbi sang as the guests arrived, and then did 2x30 minute spots after the ceremony. Her repertoire of music, the way she pieced the sets together, her style and just overall loveliness shone through. Our guests enjoyed every minute and she made our day even more special.
We requested a few songs, one being ‘everything’ by Michael buble, which was incredible and also requested she sang us out of our ceremony, which she did AMAZINGLY, to the post modern jukebox version of ‘Mr Blue Sky’ by ELO, now our new fave version, particularly by Abbi!!
All I can say is thank you Abbi, from the bottom of our hearts. It was a pleasure to have you perform and even more of a pleasure to hear your beautiful voice. We 100% will recommend you to anyone and everyone and will be booking you again in the future!!!

The Fabulous Viva La Vintage
It’s hard to sum up the contribution Abbi’s performance made to our daughter’s wedding day as it really did make all the difference ! From relaxing the guests on arrival to singing the bide and groom back down the aisle to a fab rendition of Mr Blue Sky in a post modern juke box style and then onto singing while we had photos. Everyone was dancing, singing along and throughly enjoying her performance . Abbi has a fabulous voice and a cool vintage inspired repertoire but is modern too . Nothing was too much trouble and she asked what songs the couple would like learnt some specifically and colour coordinate to the day too . We would recommend to anyone and will certainly book Abbi for and future events

The most incredible Wedding Singer
Abbi is incredible !
She brought so much magic to our ceremony it was like a dream! A moment in time I’ll never forget and brings a tear to my eye every time I think about it! We had some specific song requests from varied artists and she was so accommodating about it all throughout the build up to our big day. She sang them all flawlessly and her lovely personality shone through. From Lionel Richie to the Little Mermaid she was unreal! All of our guests were blown away by her beautiful voice and the fairytale atmosphere she created! I can’t thank her enough for making the day so overwhelmingly amazing! I will be recommending her to everyone 💕
