Services Offered
Vivid Soul performs a number of genres, such as pop, funk, soul, disco and even jazz. Their standard package offers up to 2 hours of musical magic, which may include a live performance for your first dance. If desired, these talented artists will be happy to add music to your ceremony and cocktail hour. Whether you desire the sweet sound of the saxophone or a stripped back acoustic band for your wedding breakfast, Vivid Soul can do it all! A vibrant and dynamic musical experience, Vivid Soul have all the tunes ready to take your event to the next level and keep your guests dancing all night.

How far in advance should I contact you?
Ideally, anywhere between 6months and a year before your wedding is perfect for us, but if you have a last-minute need, or would like to get ahead early, we will always try to accommodate you!

Is it possible to request something that's not in the repertoire?
Of course! If you request a song that we don't normally do, we will try to make this work for you and give you a bespoke arrangement! Small charges may apply
What's your experience?
The band has played together in many forms for the past 5 years. We have played at many fantastic venues including: Brympton House, Edgbaston Stadium, Villa Park, and Cripps&Co venues
Do you have your own equipment?
Yes
Do you need specific materials or conditions to offer your service?
Yes, we will need access to mains power, and a flat hard surface to set up on.
Ideally we would have a space approximately 5m wide and 4m deep to perform in, however we are able to squeeze if needs be!
Can you travel?
Yes, we can travel anywhere in the UK and abroad!
Is there a charge for travelling?
Yes, if we are required to travel far (over two hours from Birmingham) we may charge a small travel cost - this can be discussed at the time of booking
Do you cover more than one wedding a day?
No
Do you work alone or do you have a team of professionals?
Alone
What is the length of time of the act?
2 hours worth of music is our minimum length of time. We can of course discuss longer sets, more music throughout your day, etc
How much time do you need to prepare for an act?
We need approximately 1.5-2hrs to set up. This can be done earlier in your day if necessary, or during your meal if your dancefloor is located elsewhere!
Do you do open-air acts?

Do you charge per hour or per event?
Per event
If needed, would you be able to work extra hours?

How do you charge extra time?
Each wedding is unique, and therefore we will create a bespoke quote based on what you're looking for
What are the forms of payment?
Our payments are as follows:
30% deposit at the time of booking as confirmation via bank transfer
Remainder of the fee paid for in full, no later than 1 month before the event via bank transfer

Amazing!
I was recommended Vivid Soul by a friend and they were bloody brilliant! We had lots of compliments from guests too!
These guys looked after our music all day so we didn't have to worry about a thing and I though the cost was very reasonable.
We had a jazz quartet on arrival, music on the sound system in the background when needed and 2x1hr full sets followed by a jazz and DJ set at the end of the night.
Music choices were fab and I honestly couldn't of asked for better. Lovely people too!
We set them a big challenge by asking them to adapt a drum and bass song into a first dance style song and they absolutely smashed it!!!

Vivid Soul were everything we dreamed of and more!
Vivid Soul were everything we dreamed of and more: fun, confident, technically brilliant - amazing musicians delivering non-stop amazing tunes - the night just kept getting better with every song they played and our guests were roaring for encores! We've not stopped talking about how fabulous they were and how much fun we had on the dancefloor. They helped create some of the most precious and joyful memories of our wedding. They maintained great communication throughout our entire event planning. They were kind and approachable people who were so reliable on the day! Their organisation took a huge weight off my shoulders. I was able to have total confidence in them and they delivered an absolutely amazing performance! We cannot recommend them enough

The best wedding band we could have asked for!
Vivid Soul were the best wedding band we could have asked for! They played a perfect set of floor fillers and kept all of our guests dancing all night. Our first dance ("La Vie En Rose") was performed beautifully, even down to the exact trumpet solo from the record (which was good for us as our choreography matched up exactly like when we practised it!). They looked the part too, with a great lighting setup and smart outfits which just happened to match our colour scheme.
Sam and Lucy were amazing to deal with throughout the process, really quick at responding to emails and we felt like we were in safe hands all the way through. Our venue (Curradine Barns) has a strict sound limiter, which they were able to navigate without issue thanks to an electronic drum kit and a good deal of experience. We've had so many lovely comments from our guests about the band. Could not recommend more highly!

The most brilliant band we could’ve asked for!
WOW! Vivid Soul played at our wedding and they were just amazing. Their fantastic energy and talent meant the dance floor was rammed all night! Everybody was screaming for one more song! They were a pleasure to work with and made everything so easy and stress free for us on the day. We can’t stress how fantastic this band is; we’ll be recommending them to everyone for a very long time! Thank you so so much!
