Based in Bristol City, Bristol, Jodie Yang-Cooper is a highly talented, full-time Singer DJ with experience playing at hundreds of weddings, corporate events, and private parties. She has travelled all over the world to perform at weddings, concerts, and festivals, at world-renowned venues, for celebrities and big-name corporations.
As well as working as a singer DJ, Jodie works with some of the industry's best Saxophonists, Bongo players/ Percussionists or additional Vocalists to make your wedding the one that everyone talks about for years to come!
In the past decade, Jodie has been lucky enough to have worked in Bulgaria, China, Macau, Japan, Spain, Greece, Finland, France, Germany, Holland, Belgium and UK working for clients such as The Euro 2024, The MOD, Harrods, Primark, Néstle, Yuasa Awards, COP 26 annual party, Women's Euro 2022, Dreams Beds, Killing Kittens, The Ivy(resident DJ), Lucy & Yak, The Body Shop, Bristol Beach club, Butlins, YSL, Mercedes Benz, Bobby Brown, Waldorf Astoria, The Ritz Carlton, St. Regis, Porsche, P&O, Ministry of Sound, Galaxy Macau, BMW and Mitsubishi Motors to name a few.
Jodie specialises in her passion for 90s, disco, house, Ibiza & dance classics, with some old-school bangers always thrown in for good measure. Her amazing vocal skills as a talented female singer means you get not only a DJ experience but live vocal samples spliced onto the mix.
In earlier years, Jodie completed all Music Theatre examinations with the London College of Music and Speech, passing with Grade 8. She has also achieved a 2.1 BA Hons Degree in Music and Media Management at the London Metropolitan University.
