There is SO MUCH to plan when you’re getting married. The list is endless, from the venue to the outfits to the food and the cake. While I can’t do everything for you, I can help you tick ‘Hire amazing wedding photographer’ off your list.
Many wedding photographers conjure images of someone who’s in the way, bossy, and makes guests feel awkward. Worse still, you’ll pay handsomely to get the same classic, generic photo set everyone else has.
But that’s not my style…
I’m Jonathan, a wedding photographer of over 12 years. I specialise in blending into the background to capture your key wedding moments from start to finish - even if that means staying late into the night to photograph you dancing your socks off. My aim is to put everyone at ease whilst being friendly and engaging. I’ve even had guests ask me what side of the family I’m from! Because when you’re relaxed, the real magic of your wedding can be captured. From the look on your partner's face when you say ‘I do’, to the moment of the first dance when you’re surrounded by those you love most. Nothing gives me more of a thrill than seeing people enjoy their big day and then reliving those magic moments when they get their postcard-perfect photos afterwards.
My goal is to give you exactly what you want… Not the standard shots any old photographer can produce. That’s why we’ll discuss exactly what shots you want beforehand, and I’ll help you organise any timings to ensure these shots are taken with minimal fuss. When I’m not capturing your ‘wishlist’ shots, I’ll be blending in with the guests. Capturing natural, relaxed photos of people enjoying themselves and explaining that I’m really not on the guest list.
Something for everyone
I offer 2 packages: Classic and Premium. With each package, there are no limits on photo quantity, no hidden charges, and no limit on how long I’m at your wedding (all day coverage really does mean all day). Each package includes professional editing, all the photos taken on the day (except for the blurry ones) and a personalised box with your images stored on a USB drive.
The Premium package adds a professionally created leather cover 20-page A4 wedding photo album, saving you the time and hassle of making your own (and saving you £150).
I also offer a unique 'Movie Poster Image' add-on where you can create your own themed poster (think Star Wars or Marvel...) you can also add an engagement shoot, capturing a great set of images before the wedding to use on invites etc. (also a great way to get used to the camera if you're nervous).

The best money spent!
From start to finish, Jonathan was the most exceptional photographer! The moment we met him at a wedding fair we knew we’d struck gold and he really did not disappoint! The service that he provides is exceptional: ranging from him taking the time to meet with you at home in order to get to know you and to learn about your wedding to then meeting you at the venue to explore photographic options ahead of the big day. And then on the big day dedicating the day to capturing the most beautiful natural moments.
Jonathan is a really lovely person: calm, helpful and always goes above and beyond even down to knotting ties correctly! When we first met at the wedding fayre I read a review from another couple who had said he’d been more than a photographer and infact became more like a guest. We echo this! Jonathans approach makes you feel comfortable, relaxed and despite us both not feeling confident about having our photo taken his personable approach means that any inhibitions are gone. Our guests loved him too as he made the photo taking so enjoyable and ensured he captured lots of them too.
Our stunning photos were sent back to us so quickly and we couldn’t love them more! He really is a talented man who has a real passion for what he does.

Perfect photographer
Ahuvi photography were absolutely amazing on our wedding day.
We had a short notice wedding (3 months!) and Ahuvi had availability on our date. We met him (Jonathan) and we instantly clicked with him. He’s very professional but so down to earth! Our guests absolutely loved him and complimented on how lovely he was to talk to and have photos with.
I’m not very good in front of the camera but Jonathan made it so easy for me to feel relaxed in front of the camera. We had such a giggle and all in all it was wonderful!!
I would recommend Jonathan and Ahuvi photography to everyone wanting a professional experience but with a relaxed atmosphere. We are so greatful to Jonathan for being there for the whole day and couldn’t have wished for a better photographer! He took all the photos we wanted and more!

Most Amazing Service
Johnathan was amazing throughout the whole day of our wedding, made you feel so happy and confident while having your photos taken. He brought the energy the moment he started taken the photos, he took all the photos we wanted and more. He also enjoyed the day with us too. We highly recommend him to everyone and one of our friends has already booked him. We received our photos within 3 weeks and they are so beautiful, when we watched them it brought the whole day back to life again. We choose the rustic photos which were perfect for us.

Our Outlander Wedding!
Johnathan was so professional. As we knew he would be. We first met him in 2018 at my sister’s wedding. He was easy to get along with and helpful down to the last detail. That hasn’t changed all these years later. He was efficient in his timings making sure everything was caught on camera.
He learns (as best he can of course) the names of all of the people in the wedding party so he can chat to everyone informally which puts everyone at ease straight away.
We had a difficult task with our day, limited hours of daylight, dodgy weather…and some very slow moving guests. Johnathan took all of this in his stride and although we had odd requests for some of our photos, he has presented us with exactly what we wanted and more.
The “Movie Poster” element is also fantastic. We are big Outlander fans - something not everyone will get, but he used his skill to create an amazing “Movie Poster” photo from our day and we think it is just fantastic!
Aside from the brilliant photography, Johnathan’s main selling point is his personality. It’s like having an old friend at your wedding capturing every moment. We are so glad we chose Johnathan to be there on our special day. And would recommend him to anyone who asked for advice on who to hire.

Just superb
Jonathan was simply incredible. We kept him busy throughout the day, and whenever we needed the next shot, Jonathan was ready. He was great in his interactions with ourselves and our wedding guests and he truly contribute making this a memorable day. Also, the photos he came back with are of very good quality and I wouldn't even consider going to someone for another event. Highly recommended

Excellent Photographer and Personality
I was looking for vibrant but natural photographs with clarity and depth - Ahuvi Photography delivered exactly that but offered so much more than I could have anticipated. The quality of the photos speak for themselves but Jonathan is more than just an excellent photographer, he's a great character with lots of personality. It was a real joy to have him around with us on the day. Nothing was too much trouble and he really went above and beyond for us. Even at times when he needn't have, he was there to simply lend a hand - he's seen enough weddings to know when something's needed and you can trust him!
We had a virtual meeting and met at the venue beforehand, both were really good opportunities to build a rapport and this was really good for my wife in particular so she could immediately be relaxed with him in the morning during prep. He's one of life's good guys that can get on with everyone and strike up a conversation with anyone, it's a great skill to have so the day was great fun for all our guests and Jonathan will be there to laugh with you and capture all the moments and memories along the way.
If you've got some ideas of what you want in your mind, like I did, then he'll explore them, work through and give you his honest advice. Don't worry if you haven't though, you can trust his intuition and creative eye for some great angles. You get a real sense he loves what he does, your wedding isn't just another job for him and we enjoyed quite a few moments of celebration when we captured some particularly great photos.
The cinematic poster picture is a really good valued added bonus as well, we gave it a lot of thought and the result did not disappoint - We can't recommend Ahuvi Photography enough! Great communication, lots of thoughtful touches and little considerations both before and after such as the presentation box for the USB stick. Thanks again Jonathan, it was a pleasure to have you with us and to capture our special day.

I will not regret it!!!
Jonathan was great to work with. He made us feel so relaxed and comfortable, not to mention and fantastic, professional photographs we received after our wedding, which also came with a USB so you can share them or take them where ever you want. Of course our lovely gloss wedding album, which remains in the house.
Jonathan’s approach through the day was amazing. During the church service we hardly noticed him there and during the group photos he really took control of the crowd. He was very loud and clear with his instructions, which captured the day amazingly and exactly how we wanted it.

Incredible, Amazing, friendly service
Jonathan at Ahuvi photography really did complete our special day. He is so kind and friendly. Completely professional. Nothing is too much. Me and my husband are over the moon with our photos and there’s are so many of them! He really captured every beautiful moment of the day. We couldn’t have asked for more! Goes above and beyond and the quality of the photos are stunning!
When looking for a photographer for our wedding we found it super difficult to choose amongst the amazing talent out there. We met with a couple of photographers before meeting Ahuvi but straight away we knew he was the guy! His photos are a perfect balance of composition and natural shots. The colours are vibrant and his mood shots of the sunsetting were stunning. I can't recommend this photographer highly enough. He went above and beyond and even helped fix my broken bracelet moments before I walked down the aisle.
We wanted to get an artistic photo created but in a different style than he previously had done and he was nothing but open to ideas and delivered beyond our expectations! He even delivered the final photos in person which were beautifully presented. If you are after someone who is professional, helpful, chatty and who will happily climb a tree for you then this is your guy!

Best Photographer AND person ever.
We had a large wedding and wedding party so organising and instructing so many people was always going to be a big ask.
But not for Jonathan.
He was amazing from the get go of pre wedding planning and superb on the day.
Not only is he extremely professional but also a wonderful person in which you enjoy sharing your wedding with.
He is subtle around the day yet everywhere at one time to capture all your memories.
The presentation box he provides when you have your photos completed are another wonderful added touch from Ahuvi Photography.
Our photos were with us when we arrived back from our honeymoon so there was no waiting around for the wedding magic to continue.

The perfect photographer!
We booked Jonathan for our wedding on 31/07/21 after our original photographer couldn't make our new date as we had to move it due to COVID. We had met Jonathan at a wedding fayre previously and nearly cancelled our old photographer as he was such a lovely guy and offers such a lovely service, so we were really glad to book with him!
Our first consultation was in the middle of lockdown, so we did this via zoom and just went through rough requirements and for a bit of a natter really! We then had a bit of a wait due to our wedding being quite far away, but Jonathan regularly kept in touch and also sent through the forms to fill in ready for the big day.
On the big day, Jonathan arrived nice and early and got stuck straight in! The bridal party all though he was absolutely amazing, so much so my new brother in law tried to book him for his wedding too! Sadly he already has a wedding booked in, but think this definitely reflects the quality of Jonathans workmanship! The posed shots were all lovely and natural and Jonathan didn't take too long to position everyone which is great as people want to get the chance to mingle around. He also regularly took me and the groom off for picture at certain times of the day - such as when the sun was setting to get some nice shots. He also did lots of couples shots for the guests and bridal party and noting was too much trouble for him at all! He stayed practically until the end of our day at around 10/11pm so definitely dedicated to doing a wonderful job, he even got my mum up on the dance floor for a boogie, which she never ever does!
The aftercare was also amazing, Jonathan kept in regular contact to advise on the progress of our pictures. He also sent a lovely treat along with our memory stick images which was thoroughly enjoyed! The quality of the images are amazing and we really enjoyed showing them all to friends and family, although this took a while as there were so many lovely ones to get through! We then filled in the form for our prints, album and canvas and once Jonathan sent us the preview to approve, he booked in a date to come and hand deliver it all! The canvas is absolutely huge and is displayed in our living room for all to see! The album is also an exquisite quality and we always like to proudly show it off to all who visit!
Overall I would thoroughly recommend Ahuvi Photography to anybody who is looking to get married, he is absolutely worth every penny! We went for the platinum package and were very pleased with the results, Jonathan is an absolutely lovely person and the perfect addition to any wedding! - Thank you for all your hard work Jonathan!

Jonathan was the photographer for our wedding and we could not have been happier.
He was so friendly and engaging with us and our guests - people actually thought he was a family friend!
He was entirely professional, well-presented and most of the time we didn’t even know he was there (which was a good thing!).
Our photos were ready in 2 weeks and he hand delivered the photos in a personalised gift box with some wine and chocolates for us to enjoy whilst looking at the photos.
We were over the moon with our photos - it is so difficult to choose our favourite!

Exactly what we wanted in a photographer
Ahuvi photographed our wedding back in 2018 and I'm so pleased we chose him. Everyone comments on how lovely our photos are (and how great Jonathan was on the day!). He was a huge part of our wedding, and has gone on to photograph x2 friends weddings and my cousins 30th birthday.
He made everyone feel at ease, knew just how to get the exact shots, and get the best from everyone. We were constantly in touch about photo ideas, he even took into consideration my Pinterest board.
We couldn't of asked for a better photographer, and trust me when I say it is one of the most important decisions you will make!

Everything we wanted and more!
Jonathan was amazing from start to finish, the guests loved him and most importantly we LOVE our photos. I was always nervous about the photos as I generally am not keen on photos of myself and feel awkward, but Jonathan's personality immediately put us at ease and told us what poses to do etc to help. I don't think he stopped all day, he was always making sure he didn't miss an opportunity of a good photo and the guests all came away with some fab photos of them and their families too. He was so helpful on the day and super professional but friendly too. The photographer is always a tough decision as it's hard to know what really differentiates between all the one's that are available but I'm so happy we made the right choice. The choice of styles in the photography is a great benefit also.
