Alina's Approach

Hello! This is me, Alina! I am a photographer with a life time of experience as I was raised into photography by my dad, who is also a photographer. I have 20 years of experience in photography and art. My works have been published in Vogue, as I am a prominent storyteller of women’s and motherhood experiences all around the world. This, besides my elegant documentary, candid style, makes me a unique wedding photographer. Why do I shoot weddings? Because I love building meaningful connections with people and being in the centre of action on your happiest day. I really do feel like it’s an absolute special honour to be able to capture love. My clients cry after seeing pictures and stay my friends and come back for other shoots!

I am a multicultural photographer, originally coming from Turkmenistan, speaking Russian, English, a bit of Korean and Spanish, I lived and studied in the US, South Korea and Spain. I love capturing people, cultures and occasions - diverse LGBTQ+ and cultural representation is a pillar in my business. I have shot Phillippine, South East Asian, Chinese, Norwegian, African, Multi-Cultural and Caribbean weddings and celebrations among many others!

Fun fact: I have an International Business degree as well as passion for music, gardening and food!

I would like to let you know that I include a free pre-wedding mini photoshoot with all my packages, it is not reflected in the price and I absolutely insist on it as it makes a tremendous difference for the wedding day. You also get an option to purchase the final pictures after seeing them in your gallery.

Usually, we would have a quick coffee where you would tell me about the wedding and yourselves and then we would go for a short walk and take some pictures of you two. It is a bit of a “rehearsal” for the wedding, when we get a chance to feel each other out and get rid of any awkwardness. You also get a unique benefit of seeing my work and pictures of yourselves before the wedding, which would put you at ease and help keep you relaxed for the wedding day.

Alina offers various wedding packages and can happily travel throughout the UK to cover events. Alina has over 10 years of experience as a project manager and provides a stress-free service by planning ahead, generating ideas, and proposing solutions. Couples can choose from an hourly rate to half-day and full-day coverage, with every booking, Alina offers a free pre-wedding session to really get to know you and establish mutual trust.
