Hia, my name is Andreia, and I am a events, weddings, and portrait photographer based in the United Kingdom. I am the founder and owner of Andreia Quinta Photography, a start-up business established in 2016.

I am also a transgender woman, so I want to make sure that anyone - regardless of who they are or how they see themselves - can approach me knowing that this is an LGBTQ+ friendly business.

​To me photography is about people, hands down my absolute favourite subject is to capture people's emotions and reactions. We’re unpredictable and we convey an immense range of expressions every day, and that's precisely what I strive to capture as an events and portrait photographer.

Long ago I was gifted a subscription to National Geographic on one of my birthdays because I was an animal lover (and animal encyclopaedia), and despite the beauty of their wildlife and landscape photography, what attracted me the most was their depiction of people, from New York to Zimbabwe it was the eyes, the faces, and the expressions that had a long-lasting influence in me seeking a career as a professional portrait photographer.

And because people are my main focus, it naturally led me into covering events and weddings as well, I love shooting them because I get to shoot happy partying people in a candid way, all of their expressions are genuine and true to their character, why pose when you can have the real thing?

I pride myself in making sure my clients and my couples are 100% happy with the service they get. One of the perks of using a freelance portrait or wedding photographer like myself rather than an agency is that I can commit myself to each client like no company can.
