Your wedding day is one of the most special moments of your life, and my goal is to capture it beautifully, just the way you’ll want to remember it. At Andrew Dawson Photography, I’ve been documenting love stories since the ’90s, combining decades of experience with a genuine passion for creating meaningful, heartfelt images and films.
As an award-winning photographer, I know how to capture the big moments—the vows, the first kiss, the first dance—but also the little things: the nervous excitement before walking down the aisle, the quiet smiles you share when no one else is looking. My approach is all about storytelling, and I offer photography, videography, and hybrid packages to make sure every detail of your day is preserved, whether through timeless images, cinematic films, or a blend of both.
But it’s not just about the pictures or videos—it’s about making you feel at ease. I take the time to get to know you as a couple, understanding what makes your relationship unique and what’s most important to you. Hire this photographer- you will not be disappointed
From our first meeting he was so involved, he met with me in person and we chatted about my wants for the day and he showed me his previous work. Communication was excellent.
On the day Andy arrived early, he ensured all photos I’d asked for were executed and his warm and friendly demeanour was appreciated by all of my guests.
Then- the best part- on the day when he was due to leave, he suggested an idea of champagne spraying and this is one of my favourite photos of the lot.
His turnover time is faster than any wedding photographer I have heard of, less than a week for 490 images.
I cannot recommend Andy highly enough! Thank you so much for capturing memory’s we will cherish forever.
Excellent Photographer
Our engagement shoot was creative and simple; not too many thrills which is what we wanted. On the day of the wedding, he kept the whole situation cheerful without getting in the way of anyone (myself and my bridesmaids) getting ready or having a good time. He was able to capture fantastic images of everyone which he was able to show before the first dance on a screen which he provided. A fantastic talking point and a pleasant surprise for all. At no point did we feel stressed or that we were pushed for anything we did not want to do. We just got to enjoy our day while Andy and colleague did their thing.

He gave us so much advice and reassurance that our day would be perfect, and it really was!
It rained on our wedding day, and organising our families for photos was a bit hectic but Andrew took all the stress away and handled it like a absolute pro.
We are absolutely besotted with our wedding photos, and all our guests have said what an amazing and talented photographer he is. We've given his website details to quite a few of our friends who ahave weddings next year.

He took time to visit us, get to know us and we felt confident in what he does.
On the day, he was extremely organised and especially accomodating in what we were after, there wasn't anything he wouldn't do to help us make our day so special. The extra time that he offered towards the end of the night, was extremely generous and very kind, it topped off an amazing day.
When we received the edited pictures, we were so pleased with the quality and standard that was produced.
