I have been a photographer for 20 years, since graduating in film photography. It has been a passion of mine for a long time now and it still thrills and excites me. When I am not doing jobs, I'm documenting my family life and nature.
The style of photography I shoot in is documentary, creative and natural. Of course I will shoot the all important family groups shots, but my priority is creating really beautiful natural images of the whole day, reflecting the mood, the moments, tears and laughter and all the bits in between. The day goes by in a whirl so having lovely images of all the detials is lovely to look back on.
A little bit of background - since graduating in film photography, I took great pleasure in learning digital and have had the opportunity to work on many projects, such as, family session, festivals, art projects and corporate portraits, amongst others. I started wedding photography around 10 years ago and I still feel excited and honoured by being invited into such a special and intimate day and I do my upmost to honour that by working really hard to not miss anything and to capture the essence of your day and what that means to you.
A lot of people feel uncomfortable in front of the camera, so I like to meet up before hand, do some test shots and we can get to know each other so you know what to expect on the day, this always helps. My approach is relaxed and unobtrusive, whilst knowing when to get the right image and making sure nothing gets missed and ensure each image is edited to perfection. I have been told that I'm an intuitive, instinctive photographer that seems to always be in the right place at the right time.

I am currently trying a period of mini wedding packages. Shooting the highlights of the day but over a shorter time period - less hours, less money! i am offering 3, 4 and 5 hour packages, please get in touch for details.

There was a point during the party at night when I said “we need a photo of this!” And already, Bea was stood on a table, ready and poised! The pictures we received after, were very beautifully presented - a selection of print outs as well as a pen drive filled with memories - much more than we could have possibly asked for.
