Based out of Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire but shoorting wherever in the world your wedding is; Ben Lee Photography offers fun, relaxed alternative documentary wedding photography with a hint of unposed editorial. Capturing real moments and emotions of your day your way, exactly as they happen.
Services Offered
His collaborative approach strives to capture every detail and natural moment with no posing, no set ups, no re takes. He will go out of his way to make you feel relaxed and calm in front of the camera so that the images beautifully reflect your authentic self. As a documentary wedding photographer, Ben believes in telling the full story of the day from the prep in the morning until well into the party (the best bit) so is happy to stay for as long as is needed to capture the full story of your day.
Expect an edited preview gallery of around 15 to 20 images within a few days of the wedding. He will provide you with photographs that truly represent your incredible day, reflecting your relationship together and with your family and friends.

2 x Sony Alpha 7iii digital mirrorless cameras
Primarily a f.1.4 35mm & f.18 85mm prime lenses
Godox V1 flash gun
Do you offer any tool to display the photos online?
Yes, private gallery via Pixieset and an edit on my personal website. All password protected
What's the delivery time for a photographic report?
2 months
Do you send all the photos taken?

Im happy to stay until the very last song is belted out however :)
What are the forms of payment?
All via bank transfer
UK- 25% deposit at the time of booking to secure the date
The difference 4 weeks before the wedding date.
** Destination weddings: 50% at the time of booking to cover travel cost

It is a huge honour to be selected to shoot your wedding, so I want to do it the right way and keep true to our collaborative vision whilst making you feel relaxed and calm in front of the camera

If you can get Ben, hire him!
If you don't want your wedding photos to feel like a staged Vogue shoot where you are taken away for 2 hours from your guests, but rather spending it with your friends and family and encapsulating the day, the feel and fun. This is your man. Yes he did our posed photos and they were awesome and natural!. But he captures the day and thats what we wanted!

Like another friend at your wedding
Ben was amazing at our wedding, so friendly and calming on the big day. He was a pro throughout the whole booking, planning and actual day process. Would highly recommend Ben if you'd like candid photos, with all emotions captured throughout the day. Thank you Ben!

Amazing pictures
We have 2 photographers in our wedding and Ben was one of them. His photos were beautiful and capture sweet and funny moments we otherwise have miss as you can't be with everyone on your wedding day.

Amazing Photographer and Perfect Photos
We were lucky enough to have Ben as our photographer on our big day and we could not have wished for a better photographer, not only did Ben make everyone feel so relaxed he blended into the wedding party seamlessly and we truly felt he was part of the day!
He captured every single meaningful moment with such attention to detail, we can even hear the laughter in the room from his shots! All of our guests couldn’t speak highly enough of Ben and how approachable and friendly he was - accommodating additional unplanned shot requests from family and friends!
