About Blue and Rust

Blue and Rust Photography is a wedding photography company based in Nottingham, covering the Midlands area. We have both a photography and a fine art background so you can guarantee the photos of your wedding will be something you will love. Our company has 7 years of experience in wedding photography on a freelance basis so you could say we are old hands at getting the photos you want. We have a fun, relaxed photojournalistic style and we aim to produce a nice range of both formal and casual photos so that you can remember your day as both beautiful and characteristic to how you and your guests felt throughout your day. We create a range of black and white and colour images, with some of our packages including options for film photos.

We always try to make your day unique to you. We will love working with you to create fun images about the important things in your life. Our recent favourites were Lord of the Rings and storybook themed which have created beautiful memories for our couples as well as some really unique photos. We have a wide range of packages available with the aim to be as accessible to couples as we can without cost being the barrier, and we can also offer payment plans to help spread the cost so please don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions if this is something that you may want some further information on. We will always try to help!

Hi there! I'm an independent photographer and graphic designer. I have been freelancing since my college days and I am qualified to degree level in photography. I also own Bluesky-Noon Graphic Designer photographer, and have lots of industry experience working on weddings. I love romance and creating perfect moments for people that last a lifetime and reflect your personality not just your day. Your wedding is all about you, and I whole heartedly believe that this should shine through in your photos. I love creating a mix of formal bespoke images, and fun casual photos so you can remember not only how beautiful your day was, but how fun it was too! Pairing up with my best friend to offer wedding photography is an absolute dream, and we are both wholly dedicated to what we do, and how important getting this right is for you!

Hi! I'm Rust of Blue and Rust Photography, but you can call me Tash. I am the artist behind Rusalka Studios with a degree in Fine Art. It was here that I developed my excitement for photography and making beautiful and creative photos. I truly believe in the magic of weddings and this is what you'll find in my photography. I love finding the magic and the laughter in little moments throughout the day while also making sure the grandest moments get the grandest attention. I've always been a hopeless romantic and now my work lets me live that for every shoot we do.
