Scott Bytheway is a Birmingham-based wedding photographer that will provide you with a relaxed, straight forward and fun photography service. His philosophy is to capture the whole wedding day from start to end, from bridal preparations to party dancing, as he understands that your wedding story is the whole day, not just the bit in the middle.
Services offered
Bluefinch Photography will document your wedding with plenty of reportage and candid photos, with a bit of an innovative approach here and there; he will also do the group shots as well. The standard package includes:
- All-day coverage
- A USB stick with hundreds (typically 500-700) of images, each individually edited
- Online gallery to share with family and friends
Optional extras include:
- Wedding albums, prints, frames and other beautiful photography products
- Stylish luxury photo booth

What does the wedding package include?
Unlimited all-day coverage, USB stick containing hundreds of professionally edited high-resolution photos, online gallery to share with family and friends
How far in advance should I contact you?
As soon as you know the date and venue then I would recommend contacting me to avoid disappointment, especially for popular seasonal dates. Most couples typically book a year in advance
Do you cover more than one wedding a day?
No
Can you travel?
Yes, all of the UK
What is the charge for travelling?
If you're within an hour away then free, otherwise there may be a small mileage fee. If it's too far to commute then I may also ask for accommodation expenses
What style of photos do you take?
Photo journalism
What kind of technology do you use?
Digital
Do you use a specific technique or innovative approach?
I typically present the photography as high-resolution digital images on a presentation USB stick; however, I can also provide printed products such as prints, albums and canvases
What kind of equipment do you use?
I use two Canon full-frame cameras with high-end Canon "L-Series" professional lenses
Do you offer any tool to display the photos online?
Yes, i upload the final photos to a viewing website, with the couple's consent
What's the delivery time for a photographic report?
2 months
Do you send all the photos taken?
No
Do you work alone or do you have a team of professionals?
Alone
In case of unforeseen circumstances, do you have a replacement photographer?
Yes
Do you have the rights to publish the wedding photos?

Do you charge per hour or per event?
Per event

How do you charge extra time?
Package includes all-day coverage, typically to around 10pm, so there would be no extra charge
What are the forms of payment?
£100 deposit to secure the date. Remainder balance paid 6 weeks before the wedding

Scott was brilliant; he was warm, friendly & kept everyone relaxed. He fitted in with the guests & blended into the reception & party so he got great natural shots which was exactly what we were after.

We would happily recommend Scott of Bluefinch Photography to anyone looking for a photographer to capture their special occasion. The service was superb and Scott helped to organise the whole thing perfectly, he mingled with the guests and it was like having a good friend there on the day. To top it all off the results were amazing!!!
