To be a good wedding photographer you must love weddings, and I do very much. They bring people together and stir emotions in the most unique way that no other occasion can. A wedding day is one of the greatest moments in the lives of two people and I consider it a great privilege to be part of it and record it for you.

I have worked for other established photographers including the once largest wedding photography company in Britain owned by Kodak, and was considered as one of their leading photographers. I was commissioned to photograph the wedding of their director of photography.

Having spent more than 25 years as a photographer and photographed many hundreds of weddings I can say with honesty that the passion and excitement is still truly alive.

My priority is to make people feel comfortable and relaxed while creating beautiful images. My warm and open approach is key to achieving this. By creating a bond with you I get to understand what you want. You can then trust me to capture the most important day of your life. I adopt a natural and relaxed approach to blend in with your guests being there for those most cherished and precious moments.

Some years ago I 'bumped' into a man who stopped me and said, "I know you don't I?' I looked at him intently. "You photographed my wedding!" he said. Then I recognised him. He told me that he and his wife had been talking about me just a few days earlier. It was their wedding anniversary and every year they get out their wedding album and go through the photos together. He said the I had captured all the emotions and memories of the day so well that they could re-live them and remember the joy and excitement they had felt years earlier. He thanked me again.

I then realised the TRUE VALUE of my work.

I live in beautiful North Wales with my lovely wife Sue who is my business manager, a great support and stabilising influence for me. We moved here to get that much desired peace and quiet during our down time. This means that I have to travel for work and I'm very happy to do that. I love driving.

I offer a bespoke service which means spending time with each couple and limiting the number of weddings I can commit to. Therefore please check my availability first.
