Candid Theory is a South East London, England-based photographer serving couples throughout the UK and overseas. Owner Miriam is a documentary-style wedding, engagement, and portrait photographer. Since 2015, Miriam has worked with couples to unobtrusively and candidly capture each precious moment of their special day.
Services Offered
- Content creation within 24-hours.
- During a complimentary pre-shoot, Miriam will take the time to get to know you and your partner, creating a relaxed atmosphere for trust, respect, and familiarity.
- She takes a natural and creative approach blended with a photojournalistic style to curate authentic images to treasure for a lifetime.
- Before the big day, Miriam will also familiarise herself with your venue to scout out the best possible locations and fine-tune your day-of timeline.
- She offers shoots with a minimum of 150 edited, high-resolution edited images in digital format.

What does the wedding package include?

This is dependent upon your choice of location; a minimum of three months notice would be much appreciated

Friendly, attentive, professional
Miriam of Candid Theory was amazing to deal from the start to well after the event. She was interested in all the details to prepare well for our special day. She arrived an hour earlier, which shows true professionalism and dedication. She shot the most intimate and beautiful photos and delivered the processed images in less than a week. It was a true pleasure to work with Miriam!

Happiest ever after
We couldn’t have been happier working with Miriam. The thing we noticed from the start is that she LISTENS. She really listens: she understood what are vibe was from the beginning and that we weren’t comfortable with posed pictures. She created an environment we were comfortable with and shot some amazing moments that we’ll treasure forever.
Bonus point: she listened to my grandma rambling in Italian to her 😂

Capturing those precious moments with such emotion that many miss. A beautiful visionary collection of photos with exquisite editing.
I was so grateful for Miriam; she captured all those moments I had missed and that most photographers would have overlooked. She took time to get to know 'who's who' and all the pictures were full of such emotion. Beautiful work from a beautiful soul.

Highly Recommend!
Miriam has been an absolute pleasure to work with... as was partner, Matt. Miriam slotted into our plans leading up to the wedding for a meet and greet... and on our wedding day... perfectly. She made us feel completely comfortable and at ease from minute 1. and was snapping away in the background, completely low key, which is exactly what we wanted. She also co-ordinated some formal shots for us to ensure we had the best of both worlds... candid and more formal.
Pre-wedding, I called on Miriam to shoot some other bits and bobs for me and she did an excellent job. She's responsive, reliable, incredibly quick turn around.... I don't doubt that we will be working together again in future and would not hesitate to recommend her. For wedding or any other snaps!

Captured the authentic moments
Miriam was an excellent wedding photographer, able to capture the moments of joy, intimacy and celebration at our wedding. We chose not to pose for formal wedding photos but to go with the flow of the day - somehow Miriam was able to capture all the right people and moments without us even asking! We would highly recommend her.
