Chris Payne Weddings is willing to document special days throughout the UK. Chris has a one-event-per-day policy that'll allow him to give your wedding his undivided attention. Owing to his experience in theatre, his photography has a dramatic, theatrical edge that you and your partner will surely appreciate. Chris Payne Weddings' package includes a pre-wedding meeting, up to eight hours of coverage, portrait sessions, and a collection of high-resolution images.

What does the wedding package include?

High resolution images (colour and monochrome) supplied digitally Couple and wedding party portraits Pre-wedding meeting Shoot length can be from 4hrs (ceremony to speeches) to 8hrs (prep til end)

How far in advance should I contact you?

It's always best to get booked in as early as possible (8 months to a year prior), However, I've photographed a wedding with only two weeks notice, so it's always best to ask, in case I'm available!

Do you cover more than one wedding a day?

No

Can you travel?

Yes, all over the UK. I've photographed weddings from Glasgow to Suffolk - for other work, I've travelled much MUCH further! Basically, I'll travel to wherever you need me

What is the charge for travelling?

First 50 miles are free - after that, it's 45p per mile. For long journeys and long weddings, accommodation may have to be provided

What kind of technology do you use?

Do you use a specific technique or innovative approach?

My background is in theatre (www.chrispayneimages.co.uk/theatre), so my photography is inherently theatrical. I use a reportage style to capture unnoticed genuine interactions and moments of joy

What kind of equipment do you use?

Nikon D810, Tamron, Sigma and Nikon lenses, Post production is completed in Photoshop

Do you offer any tool to display the photos online?

No

What's the delivery time for a photographic report?

1 month

Do you send all the photos taken?

Yes

Do you work alone or do you have a team of professionals?

Alone

In case of unforeseen circumstances, do you have a replacement photographer?

Yes

Do you have the rights to publish the wedding photos?

Yes

Do you charge per hour or per event?

Per event

If needed, would you be able to work extra hours?

Yes

How do you charge extra time?

Each additional hour over the agreed time is £150 (no VAT to be added)

What are the forms of payment?

I usually accept payment via BACS, although I have been paid in cash in the past

How do you work?

I use a reportage style to blend in with the happenings of the day, keeping an eye on the theatrical at all times. However, I can provide more formal group photos as well, if requested

Captures our wedding day perfectly!

Chris did a brilliant job photographing our wedding day. He got some beautiful shots of the venue, candid shots of guests enjoying themselves and some really lovely composed shots of the two of us. With some sneaky natural ones snapped too when we weren’t looking! We’ve put them all together in a book which we will cherish. Thank you Chris x
