Hey, I'm Dan!
A wedding photographer based in Worcestershire working throughout the UK and Europe. I have been shooting weddings for 5 years now, and I love my job, and I love weddings! I have a wealth of experience in all types of wedding venues, from marquees and tipis to large stately homes and all kinds of modernised rustic barns! So, whatever the weather and whatever the setting for your beautiful day, I will be able to approach your wedding with a relaxed and fun attitude whilst bringing all of that experience to the table to make sure that you get the photos you are dreaming of without any interference to your day.
My main philosophy is to bring a relaxed and fun attitude to your day to make sure that you feel comfortable in front of the lens. I work hard to blend in with your guests in a sort of "hidden in plain sight" way. I often get asked, "How long have you known the couple?" and for me, I'm like, boom! That's exactly what I want people to say; I love it when I have that connection with people that they think we are long-time mates!! I find that this is the best way to make people feel more comfortable, and it gets the best of those candid shots everyone loves. When it comes to your portraits, I work with you and your timetable to make sure you get as much or as little time taking portraits as you want, and I make sure it does not take away from the fun you have on your day. The most common feedback I get is that people enjoyed their portraits much more than they thought they would and that they felt totally relaxed throughout the whole day.
I usually take on around 20 weddings a year (this is so I can put my heart and soul into each couple and their day). So, if you are planning your big day, get in touch as spots book up quite far in advance, and my pet hate is having to send people emails to say I'm already booked for your date :(.
