Where to start?! We cannot thank Dougi enough for our beautiful wedding photos! From the first conversation we had with Dougi he was the utmost professional gentleman! He put us at ease during our pre-wedding shoot and we loved his relaxed and fun approach to the photography!
On the wedding day our friends and family loved him too! My aunt said “he was everywhere and nowhere” meaning he had captured the whole day perfectly and you didn’t even realise he was there!!
We love love love our photographs and can’t stop looking at them! There are so many special memories captured!

Dougi was an absolute delight to have for our wedding day! My husband and I found Dougi’s portfolio of wedding photography in our search and we knew immediately that we had found our photographer. Dougi perfectly captured the candid, relaxed feeling we were hoping for. He really has an incredible eye for capturing moments. Dougi was such a joy to work with through every step of the process, from our first zoom meeting to receiving our gallery of photos. Dougi! Absolute legend - he blended in with the crowd and was the perfect photographer for our wedding as we're very much a relaxed laid back couple! He takes pride in his work, especially when it comes to getting the right shot!

Dougi was fantastic from the start! Very prompt and informative with his communications before the wedding. We were living in New Zealand, so arranged a zoom chat with him and he made us instantly feel at ease with his kindness and professionalism. The pre-wedding photo shoot was so much fun, and great for us to meet Dougi in person! He tailors his photos to the couple, and always makes sure that the family are at ease with him around and enjoying themselves. The photos are absolutely fantastic, he has managed to capture the joy and love of the day! The ceilidh dancing was pretty intense, but Dougi was in the midst of it, and captured some hilarious moments of the guests dancing away! Dougi was very professional, funny, down to earth, and amazing photographer. He not only was very patient with all my guest but with us. He took in our comments and concerns and made us feel really comfortable with him. Just from the sneak pictures I am blown away by his work.

Dougi was amazing from our initial enquirie to our wedding day, he’s so lovely to deal with making sure he covers everything you want, all our photos are amazing and a lot of our guests that he was fab too

Dougi made us feel so calm and relaxed, we both don’t like being in the spotlight and requested to have more natural photographs rather than staged/posing. We are over the moon with our photos, he was the perfect photographer for us!

Having previous knowledge of Dougi, we knew instantly that he was the man for the job. His laid back, fun but fully professional approach was the perfect fit for us. We liked his candid and artistic style and preferred this method to anything too formal.

On our day he arrived early in order that he could assess the location/venue and the possible photo opportunities. (Who knows what goes on in his creative mind?!) He had his work cut out obtaining flattering shots when we were getting ready – especially 2 brides!

Throughout the day, he was like the invisible ninja, discreetly capturing every precious moment – from a glance at each other, to a locking of fingers – he captured it all.

He saw a photo opportunity in the most bizarre setting and made it work. For instance
1. Dancing in the middle of the road.

2. Getting caught in the rain and sheltering under a tree. Then sending out an SOS for umbrellas – resulting in pictures with a rainbow umbrella as we traipsed back to the hotel to greet our celebration guests.

He mingled with our family and friends, snapped away and gave us the chance to see the love and happiness that everyone felt on the day.

We highly recommend Dougi, we have the most beautiful wedding memories (with a quick turn-a-round) to cherish. Do not hesitate or he will be snapped up for your chosen date.

I didn’t think it was possible for pictures to capture the magic of our day but somehow Dougi nailed it. He captured the story of our day amazingly and was so patient with us even when we had to put a stop to things to calm our very unsettled wee boy after him waking up from his nap. Couldn’t have asked for better pictures and Dougi just blended into the background but was very good at direction when need be. Would have him again in a heart beat if we were to do it again!

We are so glad that we booked Dougi for our wedding photos. From the initial contact onwards, he was really helpful and responsive to our enquiries, but also kept in touch with us proactively until the big day arrived. He is incredibly warm, easy to work with, flexible and creative. Dougi put us and all of our guests at ease, and let things happen naturally. We loved the initial shots we received the morning after the wedding and were delighted and surprised to get the link to the full gallery album less than a week later! There are loads of fabulous photos and we’ll treasure them forever. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Dougi, and we hope to see him at another wedding in the future!
