Paul was organised, friendly, listened to what we wanted and truly captured our day. Our photos arrived promptly and are beautiful - lots of people have commented on them!

Paul was everything we were looking for from a photographer. Incredibly personable and accommodating - he made sure that he always kept what we wanted in mind. We knew that the day would likely be quite overwhelming and that might affect our memory of it so it was important to us that, as well as some of the posed shots, we had someone who could take really good documentary style pictures that captured the magic of the day. The photos did not disappoint! Paul was great at finding opportunities for pictures throughout the day whilst not pulling us away from the celebrations for too long which gave a lovely balance. He managed to capture everyone who attended and caught some really lovely moments. We would not hesitate to recommend Paul, he will do your day justice!

Given the short notice Paul was given to prepare for our wedding, as we requested his services at very short notice. Our expectations were not as high as could reasonably be asked of anyone. But with limited time and an unruly mob of ceremony guests, Paul captured many high quality, beautiful images with such variety that one could have expected there was a team of photographers there on the day. All this whist remaining almost invisible during the ceremony and then managing to wrangle the wedding guests to be able to capture our requested shots.
On a personal note, Paul was a lovely person to have around us on our special day. So professional and of course, super competent.

Due to Covid we could only have a small wedding with immediate family coming from London and the U.S. Preparations were made more difficult by having to arrange everything remotely from New York where we live.

In the run-up, Paul was really attentive to how we wanted the day to go. Given that the first time we would meet in-person would be on our wedding day, Paul went out of his way to understand who we are as a couple.

His efforts meant that on the day itself he was perfectly prepared, and with the lightest of touches he was able to add sparkly happy energy to our little group in a lovely, modest and intimate way (without ever imposing himself).

We opened up the album he created a few weeks back, and seeing Paul's work filled us with absolute joy. He could not have more perfectly captured the wonder of our wedding day and what it meant to us.

We owe Paul a real debt of gratitude for the care he gave to us and to our day. We keep going back to these photos, and forever will.

Paul is friendly, flexible and easy going, before, during and after the wedding day. He got along very well with us, bride and groom, and with the guests. Despite his easy going look, he takes his job very seriously. Unnoted and discrete, he executed his task very well. Warm recommendations, and absolutely value for money!

We were so grateful to have Paul as our photographer for our wedding, he made the day super easy and fun! My husband and I spent many hours looking at various photographer’s websites. He’s a bit handy with a camera so he had a real interest in this aspect of the wedding planning. As soon as I stumbled on Paul’s website I could tell he was what we were looking for. Well taken, natural shots that tell a story. You can tell Paul’s background is photojournalism.

We spoke to Paul on a Zoom call before we booked him and we found him easy going and a laugh. We also spoke to Paul again before the wedding to discuss further what we wanted. At all times he understood the brief.

On the day itself Paul blended in as an extra guest almost. Guests seemed to really gel with him and he got in to the spirit of the fun event we had planned. A couple of friends don’t remember a photographer being there so I think they actually thought he was a guest. We invited Paul back the next day to take day after shots as we had use of the venue for a barbecue. Again it was great having Paul around to capture the day.

I’ve just received my wedding photographs. There are so many of them and they are al superb. They tell the story of the day so well I had a wonderful evening going through them. I am sure I will take many days looking through as each time I spot something different. It’s really made me reminisce. The day after shots are just superb too. There are photographs of people, decor, pets, food, laughter and hi-jinx.

If you’re thinking of Paul as a photographer, think no more, he’s brilliant.

Paul was recommended to us by a number of our friends, and we are so glad he was. For us, the photos were an incredibly important part of the day, especially as our six month old son was there, but we also didn't want them to take up loads and loads of time and feel forced. We can safely say that the whole process, from start to finish, was so easy, relaxing and fun! Paul was the consummate professional, at the same time as making us feel totally at ease. A wedding day is a very personal occasion, but Paul never felt like an intruder with a camera; he just slotted in with everything, directed everyone very calmly, and we have ended up with the most incredible set of photos we could have ever wished for.
