Effie photographed our engagement, and we truly could not be happier with the entire experience. She worked with my fiance to coordinate a surprise proposal and captured beautiful photos of the evening. She was professional, warm, and very easy to work with. She helped us feel comfortable in front of the camera and posed us in ways that looked and felt natural. She got the photos back to us very quickly (including several preview images the same night as the proposal!) and we were absolutely thrilled with how they turned out. Effie perfectly captured the city's charm and our love. We chose to have our pictures in Princes street gardens, Vennel Viewpoint and around the Royal Mile and Effie was very accommodating to some changes in the routes. Effie is a brilliant photographer who made us feel very comfortable on our wedding day, despite both of us being very awkward in front of the camera usually. She was super professional, had great communication throughout and worked a very long day with a smile on her face the whole time - our guests kept commenting on how great she was.

We came across Effie’s Instagram profile while searching for wedding photographers and immediately liked her style and artistic approach to photography. It was very easy to contact her via email and she responded right the next day. We met in person before the wedding and had a nice chat about our vision for the day and how she is going to approach shooting the wedding.

On the day of the wedding, Effie was there the whole time shooting photos of our ceremony. After the ceremony, we had a photoshoot with her that lasted about 3 hours. Even though this might sound long, we had so much fun and Effie did an awesome job guiding us (two pretty shy people) through the photoshoot, trying different ideas and poses in different corners of our venue.

Just a few weeks later she sent us the final edited photos and they were incredible! We couldn’t stop smiling, she completely nailed what we envisioned our photos to be in our heads.
