Elliot Govier has quickly gained a reputation as one of the most exciting wedding photographers in the South West. He has an artistic approach, while still retaining a natural and candid feel in his photography. He has worked directly alongside some of the UK's most well established wedding photographers, including Esme Whiteside, and has been mentored by Jo Greenfield. While these photographers have influenced Elliot, his biggest inspiration is nature. Does your wedding venue have beautiful gardens? Or is it in the countryside, surrounded moorland or forests? Elliot Gover is the perfect wedding photographer if capturing the nature themed aspects of your wedding is important to you.
Elliot includes a nature inspired pre-wedding photoshoot in his wedding package. Take a trip to the beach, or your local woodland, and get to know Elliot while you practice taking photos before your big day.
Elliot does not charge any travel fees for Weddings in Devon, Conrwall, Dorset or Somerset. Elliot Govier Photography is a wedding business in Totnes in the Devon region of England.

What does the wedding package include?
My wedding package aims to tell the full story of your wedding day, including morning preparations, the ceremony, wedding reception, formal photos, candid photos, and anything else you request
How far in advance should I contact you?
It's best to contact at least 6 months in advance, but I may have last minute availability so it's always worth enquiring!
Do you cover more than one wedding a day?
No
Can you travel?
Yes, everywhere! But mostly the South West
What is the charge for travelling?
There are no travel costs for Devon, Cornwall, Somerset or Dorset. Beyond these areas, it varies depending on the location, but I try to keep travel costs as low as possible. Enquire to get a quote

What kind of technology do you use?
Digital
Do you use a specific technique or innovative approach?
I take inspiration from nature, including the location, weather and season. Feel free to look at my portfolio to get a feel for what my style is like
What kind of equipment do you use?
I use industry standard equipment including two Sony A7iii cameras (which have a silent shutter, so no annoying camera noises during your ceremony!). I also use a 35mm 1.8F lens and an 85mm 1.4F lens
Do you offer any tool to display the photos online?
Yes, i provide a full high-resolution online gallery where you can download all photos for free within 1 month of the wedding
What's the delivery time for a photographic report?
1 month
Do you send all the photos taken?

Do you work alone or do you have a team of professionals?

How do you charge extra time?
I generally stay a maximum of 12 hours, and it's rare that there is any need to stay beyond this. However, I will charge an additional £50 for every hour after 12 hours
What are the forms of payment?
I take payment via bank transfer. I require a £200 deposit to secure your date. The rest is due 4 weeks before your wedding
How do you work?
I will be in contact several times before and after your wedding day to make sure everything runs exactly how you imagined. I will deliver the photos within 4 weeks of your wedding day

A lovely first shoot
My Fiancé & I booked in our engagement shoot with Elliot, I was quite apprehensive and nervous as I hadn’t done anything like this before. Elliot communicated with us leading up to the shoot and was very organised.
As soon as we met up Elliot made us feel at ease getting to know us both more, he was very professional yet casual so it felt friendly and comfortable. He had some great ideas for the shoot and made it really fun. We had a great time despite it being in the pouring rain! This really emphasised Elliot’s potential.
We’re really looking forward to having more shoots with Elliot and ultimately our wedding day! We’re so happy with our photos, highly recommend!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A memorable Day recorded to perfection.
We used Elliot for our wedding pictures. We were getting married in a country pub in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales and wanted a relaxed day and not too formal with the photos. Elliot absolutely nailed it bringing the relaxed atmosphere into the photos and making the most of the environment we were in. He listened to us and delivered exactly what we wanted. He was also present for the stag day at York races and captured some really natural photos. I would highly recommend Elliot’s services.
