This is slightly late - I'm really sorry Dawn and Carl, time has run away with me!
We booked Ever Thine at the Birmingham NEC National Wedding Fair. We came with three bookings in mind, one of which was Videography and we stopped by Ever Thine's stall to have a chat. Dawn and Carl were nothing but friendly and gave us all of the information we needed - plus a National Wedding Show special offer!
We booked them there and then and whilst it's difficult to create a relationship on the spot, Dawn was in touch with me shortly after via Facebook and email to go through various bits and pieces - music, what we wanted to capture, how creative we wanted to be and some ideas that her and Carl had.
She met with me a few weeks before the wedding at our venue - despite the fact that this was a bit of a drive for them - to go over final shots, what our vision was for the video and definitively what we wanted to capture.
They also were involved in planning Secret Singers for me unexpectedly via my sister, who had notified them separately that this was to happen and to not allow me to book myself. Dawn managed to pry out of me what songs I would want should I have booked them, so that the Secret Singers had a ready made playlist that they knew I would love.
On the day, they arrived and whilst Carl got some additional shots, Dawn remained with me and caught everything. She was part of the wedding party and not only that, because we were running late, she stayed with me after the bridesmaids had to leave and helped me get in to my dress; in fact, I remember the exact words, "Flick, don't panic, everything will be ok and I will not leave your side until everything is perfect".
Throughout the day the two of them caught everything we could have hoped would have been caught. They saw things unfolding and naturally took the initiative to capture it on camera.
Dawn also attended when my husband and I went to visit my nan in her home - as she was unable to be at the wedding - and most other suppliers would have either not done it, or wanted to charge more, but they would not hear of not being present and insisted that they wanted to be there to see everything. I can't thank them enough for that.
A couple of weeks after the wedding, we received our snapshot video, which was absolutely stunning. Friends of friends who weren't even at the wedding, who had seen it shared on Facebook, had said it made them cry and that it was edited so wonderfully. To this day, even since we've had the full video, it makes me cry watching it.
When we received the final, full length version, we couldn't believe how seamlessly it was all put together and how beautiful it was. Again, we have since watched it twice on our own and four times with various family and friends and it still makes me cry like a baby.
I can't recommend Ever Thine highly enough - Dawn and Carl aren't just Videographers, they are true friends on the day and go out of their way to ensure that nothing is left behind or forgotten. We will cherish our video forever and can only encourage you to book them; you won't regret it!
