Ash photographed our wedding on the 25/10/24. He came professionally suited and blended in with our guests. He immediately set to work with no instruction needed, he knew exactly what he needed to do. He found the best spots and was happy to take on our ideas aswell as offer his own. He was friendly, professional and down to Earth and we immediately felt comfortable with him taking such personal and intimate photos. The pictures were simply stunning, the natural colours captured were incredible with framing and lighting just perfect. His skills, knowledge and love for photography shows in every photo. The photos were returned less than 48 hours later and each one brought the happy tears back, there was no-one else we'd rather have had to capture our day. From the tiny details we'd likely otherwise forget to every single important part of our day, he captured it all and even photos we didn't even know could exist from the speed of his camera. They are simply magical and we will forever be grateful for the priceless gift he has.

We chose First Light Photography after first spotting Ash’s posts on Facebook, we loved his style and after a few messages back and forth soon realised just how great he was. Amazing photos, and a genuinely nice guy too. Very professional, made us feel at ease and other than our time chatting, we really didn’t notice he was there (which is great for those of us who are camera shy).

He lets us see some sneak peaks on the day, and had a very quick turn around too.

Unfortunately the weather was not on our side for our wedding day and unable to get the outside photos that we (I) wanted, however Ash was able to take beautiful natural photos without everyone having the pressure to take staged photos and we were able to just enjoy the day, which we really did! Ash was amazing he captured everything we wanted and more. Managed to make all our photos look natural and not staged. So many people commented on how good he was and how he made them feel at ease. Had some sneek peeks to look at the next day and the rest of them soon after to help with the post wedding blues. Would highly recommend him.

What can we say but wow! This guy is brilliant, we had our Wedding on Monday and by Tuesday we had a couple of sneak peeks and wow they were just perfect! This was such a nice touch as it keeps you in the moment and excited for more.
He was so quick with editing and sending back, the trouble was we had so many absolutely amazingly photos to choose from! It was just perfect.
I’m not very photogenic but wow I’m in love with our photos, he captured so many wonderful moments and so many natural shots.
During the day we felt so at ease, he is such a lovely guy, well presented and through the ceremony and speeches we hardly knew he was there. But he was getting the perfect natural shots.
And when we did the photo section he was patient and not at all over powering which o know sometimes can happen and couples get lost on the do this do that, our photo session was so enjoyable, personal and gave us time together which felt like just us. We laughed and smiled the whole time. We are so pleased with our choice and wouldn’t use anyone else, such a hardworking guy and brilliant value.

He took candid photos of our guests, captured our two days with its fun, laughter, and all the very serious stuff. He did everything we asked, and more besides.
