She will strive to document your candid moments throughout your special day so you can cherish your memories. For Love + Thistle will ensure you and your guests are happy and relaxed, so your true selves are photographed. They will take a traditional and fine art approach to their craft to create a beautiful collection of photos for you to treasure.

Services Offered

For Love + Thistle Photography offers bespoke packages for your wedding day and will be happy to travel to your venue. Additional hours can be added to your package to ensure no moment goes unseen. They use top-quality digital equipment to produce high-resolution photographs. For Love + Thistle Photography will be happy to provide pre-wedding photography sessions. You will be able to access your digital wedding album through their client portal.

What does the wedding package include?

Our prices start from £650. We provide bespoke packages for our couples, as not every wedding or elopement is the same which allows couples to gain exactly what they want from their day

How far in advance should I contact you?

We can take bookings from 1 month of the event

Do you cover more than one wedding a day?

No

Can you travel?

Yes, all of Scotland

What is the charge for travelling?

50p for every mile out with our 10 mile radius zone. If the event is a 4 hour all round journey, then we would charge for overnight accommodation

What kind of technology do you use?

Digital

Do you use a specific technique or innovative approach?

Our aim is to keep our couples relaxed and calm, catching those in the moment shots and capturing the story of your day from start to finish

We carry two cameras on the day switching between a handful of our favourite lenses

Do you offer any tool to display the photos online?

Yes, we display photos via our client portal which is accessed through our website

What's the delivery time for a photographic report?

1 month

Do you send all the photos taken?

No

Do you work alone or do you have a team of professionals?

Alone

In case of unforeseen circumstances, do you have a replacement photographer?

Yes

Do you have the rights to publish the wedding photos?

Yes

Do you charge per hour or per event?

Per event

How do you charge extra time?

Extra time is based on extra hours worked

What are the forms of payment?

We ask for a deposit and then final payment must be paid 6 weeks prior to the event. Any weddings or elopements booked within the 6 week period must pay in full on the day of booking

How do you work?

My approach is calm and collective. I don't like to rush any bride or groom, it's your big day and you have to enjoy it! I find if I'm relaxed then my clients are relaxed and show their true emotion

Phenomenal

We can’t thank Holly enough for being part of our special day. Her work is amazing, from the start her friendliness and professionalism confirmed we made the right choice. On our special day, we were so pleased to have you and seeing the sneak peak pictures the day after had us both shed a tear. When we got them all, I couldn’t stop staring at them!
