We booked Gavin for our wedding at Foxtail Barns in May 2024 and were incredibly impressed with his service. We booked him nearly 2 years in advance but he was happy to take our booking and answer initial questions that we had which was really helpful. Gavin was extremely responsive in the weeks leading up to the wedding, including meeting in person ahead of the big day to align on what was important to us on the day and overall plan for the day. This really set our minds at ease that it was all in capable hands.
Gavin provided a selection of print outs to us on the actual day of the wedding during the wedding breakfast - we were incredibly impressed with this and loved seeing some initial photos! We also received preview photos the day after the wedding - again we were incredibly impressed with the speed these were turned round and also the photos provided. On the actual day Gavin wasn't intrusive at all - infact we were surprised at some of the pictures he managed to get as we didn't spot him taking a lot of them!
Gavin shared our final photos with us c.4 weeks after the wedding and we are blown away by the photos. He captured our day brilliantly and we were able to relive it going through all the photos.
We also had our dog at the wedding and Gavin captured some fantastic photos of him having listened to us saying how important this was to us.

Gavin was an absolute star! We booked Gavin for our wedding at Castle Green Hotel in Kendal on 25th October 2024 and he played such a huge part in making our day special and ensuring we had nothing to worry about in documenting the day.

He had so many incredible ideas on how to use the wonderful gardens and get a wide variety of shots and was instrumental in directing us to ensure we got the most out of our time with him. We even got a few sample prints before we'd finished our main course which was an amazing touch.

We had the pleasure of hiring Gavin for our wedding on 07.06.24 and couldn't be happier with the results. We got to meet him beforehand at the venue as he hadn't been to our venue before, so we could get an idea of what to expect on the day and throw ideas around of the kind of shots we wanted.

On the day we received a sample of printed photos which was a lovely idea to share a sneak peak with our guests.

The turnaround was quick for our photos I think this was around 4 weeks and we also received a USB in a decorative box.

We decided to have a very small wedding at the Registry Office followed by Afternoon Tea. Gavin was very helpful when we discussed our plans, suggesting various options for the photographs.
On the day Gavin met us at the Registry Office and immediately put us at ease. He was great at taking candid shots as well as the group photos we requested.
Gavin sent us some preview photos very quickly which was lovely for us to look over when we were on our honeymoon.
I highly recommend Gavin, he was both friendly and professional and has produced photos which captured our happy day.

There are not enough words to describe how grateful we are to have had Gavin and Dave as our photographers. They helped make the day perfect. We are thrilled with the quality of the images and we’ve also seen moments that we missed.

Gavin and his team were brilliant from start to finish. When booking, we decided to go for the option of an additional photographer at a very reasonable price - which helped ensure we got all the shots we wanted. Gavin kindly arranged a meeting ahead of the wedding to run through the day and what we were after. On the day Gavin and his colleague Dave made sure they got all the shots we'd asked for, as well as some lovely candid ones. Gavin did an amazing job, and we would 100% recommend.

We booked Gavin for a couple of hours as our wedding was a small one (only us and the witnesses)
Communication up to the wedding was good. Gavin called us to discuss what we would like in detail before the wedding, which was a nice touch and showed he was getting ready for us.
He was on time and personable. Gavin was discreet before and during the ceremony which was not so easy as there were few of us and he couldn't 'blend' in the crowd. He put us at ease from the start, meaning we could focus on enjoying the ceremony, and captured great moments.
Afterwards we went to take some more photos on Lancaster University campus. 1960s architecture is not the usual backdrop for wedding photos but Gavin showed that he was flexible and could make anything work.

He did not have us take too many 'posed' photos and instead just captured some really nice candid shots, which is what we were after. The poses he did have us take were nice and turned out to be great shots too. Gavin had a nice way of directing us to make sure that we have good shots, while making sure that the process remained fun and lighthearted. His communication was a perfect mix of professionalism and friendly familiarity, so we felt in control of the process, but guided through it.

Most importantly, you could feel that Gavin's puts his skills and experience at the service of the customer. It was our day, and he was here to capture it, not to take over. He listened to what we needed and adapted to us, rather than have us conform to his way of shooting weddings.

We received a first selection of photos immediately after the wedding, and the rest arrived a mere 2 weeks later, as scheduled. There are a ton of great photos and we are so grateful that Gavin captured this wonderful day for us.

Gavin was fantastic from start to finish, really quick communication and answered all the questions we asked. He met us at the venue prior to the wedding for a walk around for good photo spots, and listened to our requests for specific photos that we wanted.
