Joe Lillywhite Photography is a wedding photographer based in Winchester, Hampshire, UK.
My approach is casual and candid; there shouldn't be any awkwardness on your wedding day. I'm not about generating false smiles and poses; it's all about capturing real moments as they happen on the happiest of occasions.
I'm a perfectionist at heart and notice the small details, details which will help to paint the perfect picture of your wedding day.
My couples often comment that they didn't even realise I was there when certain moments were captured. And that's the way I work, by blending in.
I'm there to tell the story of the best day of your life. And trust me, it will be!

A little about me;
I love to seek out adventure and new challenges. When I am not shooting weddings, you can find me out on my mountain bike, road-tripping in my camper van or walking in the hills & mountains. I live for the great outdoors and travel.
I'm always happy to have a chat or video call; that way, you can ask any questions, and you'll be able to see whether I will be a good fit for your wedding day plans.

Absolute Delight!
Joe is an absolute delight! We were overjoyed with the service we received. The photos are wonderful and really capture the love that surrounded us on our special day!
We were so lucky to have found someone that understood exactly what we wanted! Nothing forced or posed, just beautiful candid photos! Joe went above and beyond!

Perfect photos from a seamless photographer
Joe was a complete master of disguise that captured every moment of our big day. He was so patient and friendly and an absolute pleasure to have around. Some of the photos were so cool that we are scratching our brains wondering how he did it! Would definitely recommend Joe!

Fantastic photos and very unobtrusive!
Joe was fantastic from the start to finish. He was very unobtrusive, but still managed to somehow capture every moment I hoped he would closely. I didn't even know where he was most of the time, but I am so thrilled with the quality and amazing moments he captured. If he saw something happening, he would simply follow and capture it. He posed noone without us asking him to, and we have some beautiful images. It was relaxed even when just doing our couples photos, where he simply said walk and do as you like! We would both highly recommend Joe, and are so excited about our photos.

Reliable, professional photographer
We had already had a couple of photographers let us down and then found Joe - he was a revelation! Very friendly but also reliable which at this stage was very important to us. He responded quickly and everything was very clear. He was very flexible in terms of meeting up and understanding around what we were looking for. On the day it was a pleasure being photographed by him (and I hate having my photo taken!) and everyone has commented on how fantastic the final result is. I would recommend Joe to anyone to photograph their wedding.

All around great experience
Joe was absolutely amazing. He was very, understanding and flexible. Our original date had to be altered due to the pandemic. He delt with permits needed and was extremely professional. The photoshoot itself was fun and he made us feel comfortable walking around the pergola (hampstead park) as he took beautiful shoots, casually effortlessly using all the beauty around us. Photos turned out beautiful!! Highly recommend!!

The most incredible wedding photographer!
Joe was the most wonderful photographer from the day we met him until we received our wedding album shortly after our big day.
Joe went above and beyond to make sure our day was as perfect as could be. From the get go we loved Joes natural photography and how non invasive he was and that suited our requirements perfectly. On our wedding day everyone was so at ease with Joe around yet he was so busy snapping away even with people not knowing.
We met and talked to lots of photographers in the planning of our wedding but nobody made us feel as happy and comfortable as Joe did. The best thing about Joe is he is wonderfully down to earth and knows that our wedding day was about us and wanting to capture our day and memories with our friends and family and he sure did that and more. We will be forever grateful to Joe for capturing the most incredible photos and being so wonderful every step of the way.
We will be certainly hoping to cross paths with Joe again in the near future for whatever occasion that may be.

brilliant and professional
Joe was an absolute professional, he was moved around discreetly capturing every special moment of the day. His photos were about to create a wonderful story of our wedding catching all the emotions of the day. When we received our photos, they looked very professional but also very personal.
