Laura Helen Photography is a well-established business in the North West, Lancashire, that provides wedding coverage aiming to document all the high points and enjoyable moments from each milestone. Lead photographer Laura delights in doing justice to each occasion with beautiful images that show every event as naturally as possible.
Services Offered
Laura delights in improving her craft. Stylistically, her approach has changed with time and today, she likes to produce eye-catching, enduring images of celebrations as they unfolded. Her work allows couples and guests to reflect on each event and relive all the emotional highlights. Couples are welcome to choose their favourite package from a number of different options. These include the Half-Day, Full-Day and Twilight bundles. Laura can be accompanied by an additional photographer, and this would be an ideal way for couples to ensure all angles are suitably covered. What’s more, Laura Helen Photography also offers engagement sessions. With these, couples can safeguard the moment they said ‘yes’ to their forever.

What does the wedding package include?
I offer a range of packages, from Half Day, Full Day and a Twilight Add on package if you wish to have coverage extend to your first dance. Please refer to my website, under Packages for more info
How far in advance should I contact you?
As far as possible. I still have very few spaces left for 2024, and 2025 is starting to fill up
Do you cover more than one wedding a day?
No
Can you travel?
Yes, lancashire, The North West and Cumbria, The Lake District
What is the charge for travelling?
Generally I don't charge for travel if it is within my advertised areas

What kind of technology do you use?
Digital
Do you use a specific technique or innovative approach?
I keep my editing natural and make general tweaks to improve the overall exposure of an image, however I do not over edit as it takes away the authenticity of the photograph
What kind of equipment do you use?
I am a huge Canon lover, so my main camera is my 5D Mark IV, with a Mark III backup. Each camera has dual card slots, and I use a variety of lenses
Do you offer any tool to display the photos online?
Yes, package dependant, I do include a password protected online gallery of 250 images.
I can also allow for Dropbox as a way of reducing your package price if you were on a tight budget
What's the delivery time for a photographic report?
1 month
Do you send all the photos taken?

Do you work alone or do you have a team of professionals?

Deposit of £100 is required at the time of booking, and final amount is any time 4 weeks before your wedding date
How do you work?
As natural as possible. I like to be as discreet but I do step forward when it comes to groups, confetti throws, signing the register, and I am always respectful to your wishes on the day

Beautiful Natural Wedding Photos!
Laura was fantastic on our wedding day. We picked her as our photographer because we liked her natural style. Laura captured beautiful candid moments throughout our day as well as stunning posed shots. We didn’t even notice her taking photos which is exactly what we wanted and she was so lovely on the day. I felt super comfortable with her in the getting ready room taking pictures which was so important as the morning was very intimate. The photos also came back super quickly which we really appreciate.

Perfect in every way!!
Laura was unbelievable, start to finish! She blended into our day so perfectly and captured the most amazing pictures. All of our friends have commented on how stunning they have turned out and how she made everyone feel at ease all day. Laura was so helpful with getting the right poses and angles and used the full grounds of the venue to capture so many shots. From the moment she arrived to the bridal party prep, I just knew that I was in safe hands. If you were thinking of booking Laura then this is your sign to do it- you will NOT be disappointed!!

There are no words to describe how grateful we are to have had Laura as our photographer. She helped us create the most perfect day. Before the wedding Laura's communication was excellent. On our wedding day, Laura helped to make sure everything ran smoothly. We are so pleased with the pictures. The photos Laura captured look amazing.

The most beautiful photos!
Laura was absolutely fantastic from our first point of contact all the through to our big day and afterwards. She captured so many beautiful moments and memories that we will treasure for a lifetime. We would 100% recommend her services to other couples. She will make you feel at ease on the day while also giving direction, we thought we would feel awkward but we didn’t at all! Captured our day beautifully
Laura is so good as what she does! She was a pleasure to have around on the day, made us both feel so comfortable and the photos we received were more than we could have ever hoped for. Fantastic photographer
Laura was extremely friendly and professional. She spent time before our wedding day to speak to both of us to get an idea of our day and important photographs that we wanted to take.

Fantastic!

Perfectly Captured
I would 100% recommend Laura to anyone looking for a wedding photographer. She is extremely professional, kind and reliable. She captured all of the photos we wanted and more and it was a quick turnaround receiving our gallery. We are so pleased with how she has captured all the special moments beautifully. Laura has a lovely relaxed personality which helped make me and my husband more comfortable also meaning she could capture some natural moments. Laura was excellent at communicating and making arrangements before our wedding day and arrived early on the day - she even helped by offering to drive us to our venue - she really is the type of person that goes above and beyond, I cannot thank her enough!!

The best of the best
Wow, what a day, made even more incredible by our fabulous photographer Laura. From the minute she got there, we knew she would be fantastic. She was so easy going and made us feel so relaxed, exactly the kind of photographer we wanted. We have just received our photos and had so many lovely comments already about how beautifully she captured the day. There’s so many natural photos that are just incredible. It really was a day filled with so much love and Laura massively contributed to that. We couldn’t recommend her wonderful services enough!
