About
What is the Happy Otter way?
Let me tell you about otters - they are shy and elusive creatures. It can be tricky to photograph their natural fun loving behaviour when they know they are being watched. It takes patience and sensitivity.
Lots of my clients have similar traits!
The Happy Otter way recognises and celebrates the many brilliant charasteristics of introverts and is all about making people feel comfortable and relaxed on their wedding day.
Wedding days are fun, emotional, full of so many small interactions with loved ones who are very rarely together all in one place. There is so much going on. So much you will want to remember for ever.
Otters understand this. But they also have that feeling of not wanting a stranger pointing a camera in their face demanding they smile on command.
I'm an otter. But, I'm also a wedding photographer. I understand the importance of subtle moments. I understand people who hate to have their photo taken. I cringe at the thought of having to recreate moments just for the sake of a photo.
I'll get to know you. I'll watch and listen. I'll be sensitive and thoghtful. On the wedding day, I'll blend in and capture the full feel of the day - the way you planned it.
I'm based in York but love to travel. Have a browse of my website in your own time - there will be no sales pressure at all - and get in touch if you have any questions.
