Wedding Photographers in Derbyshire

We used Steven for our wedding photography and couldn’t have asked for more! His photography style matched what we were looking for - candids but with the traditional formal shots as well. He was professional throughout (no mean feat when rounding up family members who keep wandering off!) and as a bonus, he was familiar with our venue so knew exactly where to get the best photo conditions. 10/10!

Jess was absolutely amazing - we can’t thank her enough. The photos were so beautiful and everyone has commented how great they are. They really captured “us”. Hired Picture House Booth for my cousins wedding & we had such a good time taking pictures. There was a bit of a queue for taking pictures but we all finally got there at the end lol. I looked super cute in them. Definitely recommend.

We spent months searching for the right photographer for us and when we found Matt, we knew we were in for a treat. We wanted someone who could be a 'fly on the wall', someone who doesn't take life too seriously and someone we could have a lot of fun with. Matt is an incredible photographer and we are over the moon with our photos and prints. His organisation skills are top tier, as is his sense of humour. He kept our day running smoothly and made us feel so comfortable. Book Matt - you won't regret it!

Liva and her partner took amazing pictures of our wedding in Bridgford hall and in Elvaston castle park. We had a lot of pictures to choose from and we were happy with the portraits and family pictures they took. The album was sent quickly so we were very satisfied ! Liva and her husband are discreet but fun to be around so we enjoyed our photoshoot with them. Don't hesitate to book them for your wedding (or any other event), they're reliable 👍🏻

What can i say, Graeme is an absolute legend. If you want lasting memories to be made in picture form - Graeme is your person. Graeme will capture your day and turn it into a story through the eye of a lens. We were looking for a photographer that was local to us but i was struggling to find one that we liked, then i came across a picture which intrigued both me and my husband enough to want to know who the photographer was …. The picture in question is rather quirky and id noticed it was taken at my local family parish church so i was even more determined to find out who had taken it and that we NEEDED them as our photographer - local or not. We arranged a meeting with graeme at our house and within the first 10 minutes of chatting to us we knew he was the right fit for us both from an aesthetic and price point of view - graeme spent over an hour with us listening to our story and I’m an anxious person but i felt so comfortable and relaxed i knew we needed to book him. Communication was excellent during the build up the big day, a few weeks before i sent over the list of the ‘necessary’ pictures but the rest we were happy for graeme to take the lead on capturing what he felt was best. Our brief from the outset was candid / natural shots over posed and graeme went above and beyond to fit the brief. Even more so my intention was to not have many pictures taken at church , spoiler alert - graeme is that good at his craft he got a ‘money shot’ i never realised i wanted or needed - he was so discreet , we didn’t notice he was actually inside the church - I’m so glad he just went with it as the pictures he took during the service are beautiful. Also he captured moments which my husband and i forgot actually happened - tar LOL. Prior to the service; id given graeme a little hint of direction with what i was looking for in terms of pictures or moments to capture pre service and he did just that - my husband and i were legally married the year before and for the blessing service this year both of us were to walk down to the aisle together - so i wanted a ‘first look’ sort of vibe of my husbands reaction to the upgraded ‘frock’ before we went into church , oh wow, did graeme get those shots and more. The Reception: Again, graeme was given a brief of certain pictures to get then the rest we were happy for him to take the lead and have fun with the camera. Our plans had changed slightly in the few weeks before the big day but this didn’t sway graeme at all. Specifically, precious lasting memories have been captured for my extended family and i cannot thank graeme enough for that. Graeme was patient and went above and beyond with our guests throughout the entire day - so much so , whilst the evening guests were arriving pre first dance, graeme gave an impromptu photography lesson with some of the younger children at our wedding which then led to getting some of the best candid shots of the kids on the dance floor - thank-you for being so attentive with them. Thank-you for being an integral part of our special day. What can we say about David… Choosing him was the easiest decision we made in planning our wedding, even before we had an official date or venue. We knew from our first conversation that he was the perfect photographer for us. My new husband was particularly sold on the idea when he learned David uses a drone! David went above and beyond from the very beginning. Despite being on a family holiday, he took the time to speak with us and ease our concerns. He met us at our venue, discussed the shots we envisioned, and even showed us hidden gems for unique photos. On the wedding day, he delivered a rapid turnaround of countless stunning pictures. Our wedding day was perfect, and David captured every precious moment. We'll treasure our photos forever. David's calming presence made us feel at ease, so much so that we often forgot he was there. This allowed him to capture some of the best candid moments. To ensure both of us getting ready was documented, we also had a second photographer, Lee, who was just as wonderful and relaxed. Our guests continuously praised David and Lee’s professionalism and dedication. They skilfully captured every beautiful moment, including the hilarious mishap when my husband misheard instructions and sprayed fizzy 'champagne' all over David. Through it all, they remained patient and cheerful. Choosing Hazlewood as our venue and David as our photographer were the best decisions we made. We cry with joy every time we look at our photos, which perfectly encapsulate the magic of our day. David captured a wonderful mix of posed, candid, fun, and formal photos. He also made sure to consider all family members, including our grandmothers who have limited mobility and my camera-shy, disabled mother-in-law, she now proudly displays many of our photos. We even included our beloved dog in the celebrations, and David captured beautiful moments with him too. It was the best day of our lives, made even more memorable by David’s extraordinary talent. When we met Jonathan and spoke about having pictures taken for our special day, he made us feel at ease as we had no idea where to start.
