James Polley aspires to take the stress out of your big day. To do this, he offers completely customised wedding packages tailored to your needs. He is flexible with travelling and is open to covering weddings all over the UK and beyond. Alongside wedding photography, James also provides pre and post-wedding sessions. He will present your high-resolution photos to you via USB, digital albums or mini albums. He also provides a link to your photos for you to share with your guests.

What does the wedding package include?

Your images will be sent via post on a USB stick for your safe keeping. I will also send you a link via email that you can send to your friends & family to share your special day, for everyone to see

How far in advance should I contact you?

The further ahead of time the better to secure the day. I have been booked from a little as 4 week prior to the big day to almost two years away

Do you cover more than one wedding a day?

Can you travel?

Yes, i cover any location in the UK and aboard. I work around you, your location and your wishes

What is the charge for travelling?

Within 20 miles, there are not travelling fee's, beyond, its calculated when i am given the location(s) and built into the final quote

What kind of technology do you use?

Do you use a specific technique or innovative approach?

I am known for my bespoke approach, talking to you in detail before the wedding, so I can focus on your relationship on the big day. This allows me to get natural shots you both on the day

What kind of equipment do you use?

I use only professional equipment which are checked/cleaned once a year. I have a Nikon DSLR, two bodies and three lenses. This allows me to have two different lenses with me, for two different styles

Do you offer any tool to display the photos online?

Yes, after the big day, once the images are edited, they will be sent via USB. I also send a We Transfer link for you to share with family and friends as you wish so they also can see the day in full

What's the delivery time for a photographic report?

How do you charge extra time?

There is an hourly rate I work too so if i am needed earlier, that isn't a issues at all. Even if on the night, your having a great time and want me to stay, i can stay as long as you want

What are the forms of payment?

I ask for a 20% deposit to secure the day. I then ask for the remaining fee to be paid in full a week before the wedding, all via bank transfer

How do you work?

I have an easy to approach, friendly attitude before, on and after the big day. I have a meeting with you both before the big day so i have an understand of what you would like and the style
