Joe Daniel Photography is a wedding photography business based in Leeds, Harrogate, York, Scarborough & North Yorkshire, West Yorkshire, Manchester and Cheshire, London and beyond. Hi, I'm Joe, a fun-loving, down-to-earth, pretty chilled, and grounded high-end portrait and documentary-style Leeds wedding photographer.
I'm a lover of a good single malt and when the sun shines, a nice pint of beer (of course not while I'm shooting a wedding 🤭!)
Brides have told me I have a calming effect on the day whilst being in my presence as I've covered so many weddings in my time as a wedding photographer and know exactly what to expect and don't get phased when things don’t go to plan...as they almost always tend to do! My unobtrusive, reportage approach is all about capturing fun, natural-looking images that take you back to how your day actually ‘felt’. Wherever you’re having a great time, you can be sure that I'll be sneakily there too, ready to pounce discreetly and capture the fun moments you’ll treasure forever.
Services Offered
I cover weddings throughout the United Kingdom and abroad. I cover no more than one event per day, can work alone or with a second photographer. I charge per event, and your wedding package includes a password-protected online gallery and luxury wedding album or print package. My average turnaround time is approx 3 -4 weeks depending on season. I can adapt a plan to suit a wide range of album options and budgets if needed. Email me for my brochure.

What does the wedding package include?
All the best selection of images from your whole day edited to a high standard and print ready for you via an online gallery. Full rights to print. High quality coffee table album (range in price)

I work on my own or with a second shooter capturing moments as they happen rather than running/ruining the day, after all it's your day not a photo shoot :) I'm discreet yet firm for group shots!

Joe was the absolute best person we could have chosen to photograph our wedding and we really recommend him if you're thinking of employing him. From the very beginning he was so enthusiastic, professional and supportive - he met with us to discuss our ideas and needs, did an engagement shoot for us and viewed the venue and offered his ideas for the best location shots. We think that his work speaks for itself - we loved the vibrancy of his photos and the way ours turned out were amazing. He had some brilliant tricks for getting stunning and romantic night time shots and our wedding album was absolutely wonderful and told the BEST story of our amazing day. But he is also such a lovely person to be around and an absolute joy to deal with. He managed to be very discreet through the day and we often didn’t notice he was there! Many of our guests commented on what a good guy he was. So, thank you so much Joe for our excellent wedding photographs and album, and for being part of our day!

Amazing service, beautiful photos and a lovely man.
We loved having Joe to help capture our special day. We didn’t ask for groups of photos and he very much listened to this, taking some lovely ones through the day. He very much captured the essence of our wedding day. Memories that will hang on our wall for years to come.

5 star professional friendly service from start to finish
Where to start with the amazing Service provided by Jonathan! Firstly he made myself and all of the bridal party feel completely at ease, he was professional, discrete and captured the most beautifully natural shots. Jonathan was also fantastic at staging and positioning us all to get stunning posed shots. Jonathan was brilliant throughout the entire day… He was more than happy to go with any ideas we had whilst also offering to go above and beyond to on get the perfect shots!Our wedding photos are everything we dreamed of and more and we are so glad we didn’t go with anybody other than Jonathan. If you are looking for a photographer that provides high quality photos to capture the story of your day we highly recommend. Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts

Brilliant photographs, great guy!
I just HATE having my picture taken, but Joe was just brilliant at making everybody feel at ease and we were so pleased with the end results. After our wedding we asked him back to do some family photos after our baby boy was born and these were even better!

Discreet and natural
Jonathan captured our day on 14th May 2016 and what a sterling job he did! Having been a part of many weddings in the last couple of years, what strikes us most about Jonathan is his discreetness, but also his ability to capture some of those extra special moments and looks. He is so relaxed, it's just the kind of person you need around to help keep things calm. We absolutely love looking through our collection, and relive a bit more of our day each time. We've had tears a plenty both from ourselves and friends/family whilst showing our pics, as they bring back so much emotion. We had considered using a videographer, but having the snaps Jonathan got we realise how unnecessary that would've been. We genuinely think our pictures have so much more depth to them then any wedding videos we've seen. The only problem we've had was selecting the pictures for the album, as there are so many we just love! We got there in the end and can't wait to see the finished product. Thank you Jonathan, for being calm and discreet, but most of all thank you for capturing the best day of our lives that we can keep enjoying for decades to come.

First Class Photographer!
Jonathan is so wonderful, on every level! He took our wedding photos over 12 years ago, and we are still in touch to this day. After finding his details online and seeing how vibrant his photos were, we contacted him for more info. He invited my then fiancé and I to his house to discuss all of the steps. We chose and personalised the package that best suited us, and he offered us an engagement photo shoot too, which of course we accepted. On our wedding day, Jonathan was on time and accommodating, and completely made us feel at ease - much more like a friend than our wedding photographer, but with absolute professionalism too. Everyone is complimentary of the final wedding album, which seemed to be one of the first “Photobooks” of its kind and yet still looks so modern even now. The digital images also allowed us to blow up our favourite images to display in our home on canvas. I would highly recommend ImageCapture to anyone who asks. Colour, vibrancy and happiness shine through his photographs and we can’t thank him enough for the wonderful job he did on the biggest day of our lives.
