Jonty Howe Photography is a wedding photography company based in Derby, England. Owner Jonty loves weddings; he enjoys the splendour and the palpable sense of excitement in the air. A wedding is a milestone event in a couple’s love story, but it’s also made up of hundreds of little stories and moments. Jonty’s documentary approach is all about allowing beautiful moments to unfold naturally. He keeps posed photos to a minimum so that you can spend less time looking at the camera and more time making memories.
Services Offered
Jonty Howe Photography covers weddings throughout the United Kingdom, from the South Coast to Aberdeen. Jonty offers half-day and full-day wedding packages. Both packages include full-resolution images, an online gallery, and a USB; the full-day package also includes a complimentary engagement session. Optional extras, including a second photographer and a selection of fine wedding albums, are also available.

What does the wedding package include?

How far in advance should I contact you?
Ideally long enough so we can fit in an engagement shoot and I can get a room booked if I'm travelling
Do you cover more than one wedding a day?
No
Can you travel?
Yes, i am based in Derby but cover the whole of England. I've shot weddings on the South Coast all the way up to Aberdeen
What is the charge for travelling?
I'll cover anywhere within 80 miles of Derby, or anywhere in London with no additional charge.
Outside of this will incur a £100 additional charge
What style of photos do you take?
Photo journalism
What kind of technology do you use?
Digital
Do you use a specific technique or innovative approach?
I try to be as unobtrusive as possible and I'm not afraid to have a little chat with your guests to put people at ease. I really value getting to know a couple a bit before the day
What kind of equipment do you use?
I use Canon cameras and a mix of zoom and prime lenses throughout the day
Do you offer any tool to display the photos online?
Yes, a password protected page on my website for guests to view. As well as a link to all full resolution images
What's the delivery time for a photographic report?
1 month
Do you send all the photos taken?

Do you work alone or do you have a team of professionals?
Alone

How do you charge extra time?
I like to cover the whole day from getting ready until at least the first dance. I see my job as documenting the day
What are the forms of payment?
Cheque, Bank Transfer(preferred) or Cash
How do you work?
I love to capture stuff as it happens and will try to keep posed shots to a minimum, apart from the couple shots and a handful of group shots. Natural is Beautiful

Wow, couldn’t have asked for anything more. What a photographer!
Jonty is an extremely talented photographer and an incredibly kind human being. He brought so more warmth to our wedding and made everyone feel at ease. I have had so many people remark what a fantastic job he did. Not only this but the pictures he captured from our day were outstanding. I cried when we received them, it’s definitely true what they say… invest in a good photographer as it is the one of the few things you come away with to remember your day. I will cherish these pictures forever. Thank you Jonty.
