At Just James Weddings, we believe every love story is unique and deserves to be beautifully told. Specialising in candid, natural and unobtrusive wedding photography, we blend artistry with authenticity to capture those precious moments that make your day unforgettable. A specific selling point to add to the above sentance is that every wedding is edited to tell the story of your day and not anyone elses, by editing your photos to match those of your wedding day flowers.
Our Services Include:
- Full-Day Coverage: From the excitement of getting ready to the joy of your first dance, we ensure every moment is documented.
- 12 hours - £1600
- Additional hours into the evening - £150 per hour
- Engagement/Pre-wedding Photo shoots: A perfect way to celebrate your love and get comfortable in front of the camera before the big day. It's also a chance to see us work and meet us in person, which reduces the awkwardness on your special day - £250
- Tailored Packages: Customised to fit your specific needs and preferences, ensuring you get exactly what you want.
- 8 hours - £1200
- 6 hours - £1000
- Additional photographer - £450 (recommended for guest size over 120 people)
- High-Resolution Images: Delivered both in a stunning online gallery, ready to share and print. Full day weddings also receive a personalised USB box with up to 15 free prints inside, and 6-8 hour packages receive up to 20 free prints in the post.

What does the wedding package include?
- PLATINUM: 12 hours £1600
- GOLD: 8 hours £1200
- SILVER: 6 hours £1000
- Extra Photographer: £450 (I recommend to anyone that has over 120 guests)
- Engagement/Pre-wedding Shoot: From £250
How far in advance should I contact you?
I am currently taking bookings up to & including 2027. Booking a photographer is on par with booking a wedding venue due to availability, so I would always recommend booking both as soon as possible
Do you cover more than one wedding a day?
No
Can you travel?
Yes, somerset, Devon, Dorset, Gloucestershire, Cornwall, Wiltshire, South Wales, New Forest/Hampshire, Surrey, London
What is the charge for travelling?
Travel is included throughout the South West of England/within 2 hours from home. Overnight stay and weddings further-a-field will be at the couples expense
What style of photos do you take?
Other (My style of shooting is natural, candid & documentary. I love to be as unobtrusive as possible throughout the day, but at the same time I understand how important it is to get those family photos)
What kind of technology do you use?

Do you use a specific technique or innovative approach?
Apart from knowing my cameras inside out, and sticking to my shooting style, the only thing I would say I do differently is that I love to match my editing colours to those of the bouquet

Just perfect! 📸
We contacted James to do the photography for our wedding day and right from the first time we had contact it was clear that we were going to get exactly what we wanted. James is a professional and it's clear that it's also his passion as he carries out his job methodically. We were so lucky to have found him.
We wanted someone who would capture the soul of our wedding and he did exactly that. Nothing overly posed, the day was relaxed and fun, which he captured perfectly. It was a day full of family, friends, so much laughter, tons of love, plenty of dancing and James was there for all of it. The lighting, framing, character and life of each photo was what I had been dreaming of. The sort of photos that are timeless and our family and friends will look back on and suddenly be transported back to the day.
We can't recommend James enough – he is not just a photographer but a true artist and a fantastic person to have on your special day.

Can’t recommend enough!
James is an incredible photographer, we are so glad that we chose to go with him. From start to finish, James made us feel so at ease. We’ve never had any kind of professional photos before, so both thought we’d struggle with confidence, but James was more like a friend, and I felt completely relaxed. The pictures he took were incredible, creative and just perfect. 10/10!

Amazing wedding photographer
James is an amazing photographer who puts even the most camera shy couples (like us) at ease and enjoy the whole process. He's very resourceful, shares a ton of information in the run up to the wedding to best prepare for excellent photos. He goes above and beyond in making the day seamless - from making your bouquet look fresh to giving clear instructions to guests for getting the perfect group shot. With a very fast turn around of 'Hero Shots' in under 12 hours from the wedding day, I could share memories almost instantly with loved ones. Can't recommend James highly enough. Thank you for capturing our special day and being a part of it.

James is an amazing wedding photographer and a key vendor for us to have secured for our big day.
Communication leading up to the event was great, and then on the day James was friendly and perfectly balanced the unobtrusive photographer getting those candid shots with the commanding photographer rallying the guests when needed! Most importantly James is such a good guy, conscientious in his approach and takes pride in his work.
Our "sneak peek" photos are incredible and we're so excited to see the rest, which I know will be prompt and to such a high standard!
Would 100% recommend booking James for your wedding or event - you won't regret it!

We first contacted James back in the summer of 2023 whilst in the thick of wedding planning. In what was a pretty stressful time, we were instantly relieved to have found a photographer that not only understood what we were looking for but also made us feel comfortable and relaxed (we’re not the ‘smile for the camera’ type)!
James continued to stay in contact throughout the lead up to our big day with video calls, emails and through WhatsApp. The video calls really helped us to get to know how James worked and James to get to know us as a couple.
On the day itself, James arrived at the venue early, scoping out good areas for photos and capturing some incredible moments of the girls getting ready in the bridal suite.
Throughout the entire day (it was a long one), James was amazing. He somehow managed to put everyone at ease and, after a few formal photos, we hardly noticed having our pictures taken. He also fit in like he was one of the family, laughing with the guests, joking with our kids and giving us some encouragement when it was time for couples photos. He even stayed later than planned to capture the father-daughter dance.
All in all, we couldn’t have asked for more. We feel so lucky to have found the perfect photographer for our day!

Fun relaxing and stress free
James was amazing! Totally understood our unique wedding and the little time we had. We were awful at knowing what pics we wanted and James made it so easy to get the perfect ones and directed us. He made us feel so comfortable and relaxed, as well as our family and friends.
The pre wedding video calls were a big help as I felt like I knew James before we met him and I wasn't nervous on the day(about that anyway)
Also loved that I received some photos before 24hours later, made my airport experience a lot better 😂

Hands down the easiest decision you'll make!

I highly recommend James for your wedding photography needs! Our pictures far exceeded our expectations and James makes you feel very comfortable in front of the camera. We would highly recommend James 5*
James was the most amazing photographer at our wedding. In the days leading up he messaged us a few times to reassure us about the weather as there was a named storm due on the day. He showed us amazing photos he had taken of other couples in the rain. He was calm throughout the day but managed to get the guests in place to take photos at the right time to avoid the rain. The photos are beautiful and he really listened to what we asked for. I would highly recommend him.

Wonderfully captured our day
James captured our wedding day so perfectly and we are over the moon with the photos and service we received from him throughout the whole process.
