Hello I am Katie Mortimore and I'm a creative wedding photographer based in the village of Starcross in Devon, and also happy to travel across the UK.

I specialise in relaxed natural documentary wedding photography coverage. Forget stuffy posing, instead I like to capture candid natural moments. The couples that often book me are those who generally prefer not to be in front of the camera, but by the time we have finished they look complete naturals.

Services offered

Full day documentary coverage generally covers from bridal prep to first dance. I can also offer you all of the following within coverage (some incur additional costs)

I quote for each wedding according to coverage time and location. I don't believe in charging the same amount for a 6-hour wedding as a 12 hour one!

Well I'm a very outdoorsy type who if not behind a camera can often be found riding a horse! I very importantly get on with most people, and am a natural diplomat (a young daughter is great training!). I'm very easygoing and don't believe in stress, I'm a creative problem solver so can find a solution for most things, and I'm a great person to bring a sense of calm to a hectic situation (bridal prep anyone?!)

I am also a bit of a geeky nerd, I can happily talk marvel, star trek, the Office and the likes. I'm a big animal lover, as mentioned I'm an avid equestrian but if it's furry it's a friend!

Devon for the win!

From earlier this year (2022) I relocated to East Devon, in the village of Starcross which is just South of Exeter. I will still be covering the entire of the South West of England and beyond though for weddings including into Wiltshire and Hampshire where I was previously located.
