MJ Photography is a wedding photographer based in Maidstone, Kent. Photographer Maciej has spent years honing his craft and has developed a great passion for photography. Maciej will endeavour to blend seamlessly into the background, capturing your candid moments as your day unfolds naturally. His fly-on-the-wall approach will enable you and your guests to feel comfortable, so your genuine emotions can shine through in your photos. Maciej's priority will be your enjoyment, and he would love to help bring your vision to life on your momentous occasion.
Services Offered
MJ Photography will happily host a consultation with you to discuss your desires for your special day. Maciej will tailor his approach to suit your requirements and strive to capture beautiful images that tell your true love story. He offers full-day coverage of your wedding celebration to ensure every magical moment is documented. While Maciej generally works alone, a second photographer can also be present to capture every inch of your splendid event.

What does the wedding package include?
The package includes:
- pre-wedding photo shoot in Kent.
- a whole-day, photo-journalistic coverage from bridal prep to first dance (8-9 hours).
- 400-500 high resolution images on a USB
How far in advance should I contact you?
As soon as possible, typically a year in advance. However, I do sometimes have availability at short notice so send me a message!
Do you cover more than one wedding a day?
No
Can you travel?
Yes, mainly the South East but I often travel beyond
What is the charge for travelling?
This is calculated individual basis - please message me the details and I can come back with a quote

Do you use a specific technique or innovative approach?
| believe in recording weddings as they unravel whilst putting as little pressure on my couples as possible. The more relaxed you are on your wedding day, the better the photos will be

Full frame, digital Canon cameras and high quality prime lenses
Do you offer any tool to display the photos online?
Yes, dropbox - you can download the whole set and share with friends and family
What's the delivery time for a photographic report?

Per event

How do you charge extra time?
I only charge extra time when it's agreed with the B&G prior to the event. Most of the time it is not necessary and I would not apply extra charges if your wedding overruns
What are the forms of payment?
BACS or cash
How do you work?
I am a photojournalist and whilst I am happy to advise or help during the day I tend not to direct couples excessively or put too much pressure on them. I have a relaxed, candid, fly-on-the-wall style

Really chill - beautiful photos
From the initial phone call we knew Maciej was the photographer for us. Not only did we love his style of photography but we also liked his personality. During our engagement shoot, Maciej made us feel comfortable and reassured. He couldn't be more accommodating and was so helpful during our planning. The photos from our wedding are fantastic, we couldn't recommend him enough, just a great guy. Thank you Maciej!!

A great photographer
Maciej was the perfect photographer. We booked him because we liked his natural style of photography. He was super accommodating and always really fast at responding to queries. He offers a pre-wedding shoot which really helped to get us more relaxed in front of the camera before the wedding. The photos were also excellent (especially considering he had to work around our young children!). On the day he was punctual and you hardly noticed his presence. We got married on the hottest day of the year, which is a photography challenge in itself, but he still managed to get amazing photos. We couldn’t have asked for a better photographer. I’d definitely recommend him.

Memorable, natural and beautiful photos
Looking back at our photos makes us relive the whole day again. We did the engagement shoot which gave us time to get to know Maciej and feel more comfortable in front of the camera. Maciej was so accommodating and flexible for our work patterns to arrange meetings and the photo shoot.
We wanted our photos be relaxed, natural and not forced, which Maciej did perfectly. He got some moments which are beautiful and we cannot wait for our wedding book to come.

A fantastic photographer!
Maciej was such pleasure to work with. He is friendly, accommodating, and really made us feel so comfortable and at ease on our wedding day.
We wanted the whole day to be caught on camera naturally, without posing or staging of the photos. This is what led us to booking Maciej, as his documentary style photography is relaxed and authentic, but yet captures beautiful and timeless photos.
We hardly noticed he was there on the day, and the photos we have received are just fantastic. We cannot recommend him enough!

Could not have asked for an easier person to get on with on the day!
From initial contact in 2019, to the 2020 wedding being cancelled, to the 2021 wedding confirmed with 2 weeks to go, nothing was an issue and communication was great throughout.
We were lucky enough to have our engagement shoot before Lockdown 1 so these pictures were amazing to have in the long run up to the new wedding date.
The day was amazing, being surrounded by friends and family, the first big get together since lockdown 1, the photos captured it all. Thank you Maciej.
