Hello, I am Kent-based wedding photographer living in Whitstable. I specialise in a documentary/reportage style of photography, which means I focus on capturing real, honest, raw emotion throughout your whole wedding day. I do not believe a wedding should be one long photoshoot! It should be celebrated with festivity and excitement. Memories will be created and then re-lived through photography, that is why it is so important to remember the day just how it was!
Over the 9 years of being a full-time wedding photographer and the 200+ weddings I have shot, my photography style has been described by clients and guests as relaxed, candid, unobtrusive, genuine and real. I have been told many times I am like a ninja with a camera, as I capture little moments that nobody even realised I was paying attention to.
I cover weddings across the whole of the UK. But most of my weddings are shot in Kent and the Southeast, including Whitstable, Canterbury, Maidstone, Ashford, Tunbridge Wells, London, and pretty much everywhere. Services offered
My pricing for wedding photography ranges from £850 - £3200, with the majority of my couples booking me for a full-day coverage package for roughly £1950. I generally have 4 wedding photography packages. Up-to-date pricing can be found on my website, but I find roughly 40% of my couples require a bespoke pricing package, so please drop me an email with your wedding plans and requirements.
My most popular package is a full day of coverage, starting with the morning preparation and going all the way through to just after the first dance. The package price can be reduced if your wedding is a shorter celebration requiring fewer working hours.

- Roughly 400 high-resolution images from your wedding day
- A password-protected online gallery uploaded 4 weeks after your wedding day

Do you cover more than one wedding a day?

Can you travel?
Yes, across the whole UK and the World. But mainly in the south east and Kent, such as Whitstable, Canterbury, Maidstone, Tonbridge wells, Ashford, London etc
What is the charge for travelling?
Travel is free for up to 75 miles from Whitstable.
A small charge is added to further afield

Hire Scott before someone else does
We cannot speak highly enough of our entire experience with Scott. From our first contact with him, he was the perfect balance of friendly and professional. His communication was great and made us feel confident in our decision in the run up to the big day. He helped us come up with a clear list of what we wanted and brought his own ideas to help us craft the perfect set of photos. He listened to what we want and if his sneak peek is anything to go by, he delivered more than we could have asked for. Scott was so much fun to have around on the day. His insight into what to do and when was invaluable and made the morning run smoothly. He was efficient and nearly invisible for most of the day, catching all the little moments we didn't see as well as some beautiful photos of the two of us. I loved having him around. Love our photos
Loved having Scott as our photographer! Myself and my husband didn’t want to spend too long on posing for photos, and wanted more natural photos taken. Scott definitely understood the assignment and we are so happy with the photos turned out. I almost forgot he was there half the time. Thanks again Scott!

Beautiful photos
Would thoroughly recommend Scott- he did a beautiful job of photographing our wedding in May. He went above and beyond, not only capturing the whole day in such an authentic way, but also being such a calm and helpful presence throughout! He even had a clever app that tracked the rain showers so we could dodge them when heading outside for photos. Thank you Scott!

Just Amazing
Scott was incredible on our wedding day, I’m not one for having my photo taken but he made us feel so relaxed and just made the whole experience fun. Our friend and family all commented on how good Scott was and how he just slotted into the wedding.

Fantastic Wedding Photographer
Scott is fantastic to work with, very down to earth and makes you feel very relaxed about everything being under control for the big day! We had our wedding at Marleybrook House and Scott was recommended to us by them and we was not disappointed. Our photos come out outstanding and our venue had a lot of extra parts that needed photos and Scott was everywhere making this happen! Very nice guy and we both found having Scott there handy for those nervous moments of the day!

Amazing photographer - 10/10
Scott is truly excellent. He really captured our day in its entirety, and also made us both feel completely at ease in front of the camera (which is a feat in itself!). All of our guests loved him and the pictures, and we also had his photo booth which was hilarious fun - I suspect he'll be getting a lot of requests from our guests for their own weddings! We couldn't have asked for more, and also the turn around on editing was unbelievably quick. We had an engagement shoot in our package beforehand, and Scott had been to the location ahead of time to scout out the best shots, then took us around - he is amazing at finding the best angles, and puts so much time into making sure that he makes the most of his surroundings. He's also really nice and fun to hang out with, so a real all rounder! If you are deciding between some options, do not hesitate in booking with Scott - trust us, you will not regret it!

Best decision we made!
Choosing Scott to be our wedding photographer was one of the best decisions we made in our wedding planning! Right from the outset he was incredibly helpful and friendly, with appointments easy to book online and the opportunity for Zoom calls at times to suit us. Out of all of our wedding suppliers he was by far the most efficient and professional, answering emails very quickly, which gave us confidence that we were in safe hands! There were a variety of packages available for us, so we could have the right level of coverage during the day to suit us, and to fit our budget. We also opted for the Engagement shoot which was a fantastic idea and very much recommended - not only did we get some great pictures (Scott went to the trouble to ascertain the exact day/time to go to Whitstable beach when sunset and low-tide aligned), but it was a great way to meet him and see him at work ahead of the day. On the wedding day the photos never 'got in the way' with the flow of the day: - most of his photos are candid, capturing the natural moments, rather than being staged (although we also did a few 'formal' photos), yet they still managed to capture everyone (and the venue itself) looking their best! The colours and the lighting were amazing. Everyone commented not only on what great photos he produced, but also what a lovely guy he is, who was able to fit in and chat with everyone! Afterwards, the photos came in a handy hi-res USB for us, and an online gallery for our guests, from which it was incredibly easy to order prints/framed pictures/share on social media etc. The quality of these products is amazing! Scott also helped us design our beautiful wedding album, arranging the pictures himself with his photographer's eye, and again all in a very easy-to-use online format.

Brilliant!
Scott was amazing, he captured our whole day brilliantly (he just seemed to know where to be and when) and we didn’t need to spend mass amounts of time posing for photos which is what we didn’t want! Everyone commented on how good he was. Would highly recommend!

Scott added to the day in so many ways
Scott was everything we hoped for and more on our wedding day. His flexible and fun personality meant that nothing was too much and he had so many ideas for beautiful and unique shots. We got married at the beach and Scott managed to capture the magic of the British seaside with seagulls and all, while also framing the day with the most beautiful sunset - leaving us with a broad range of photos which make us laugh and take our breath away. Everyone was raving about Scott on the day - asking how we found him etc because he was just so lovely and everyone was blown away by the way he joined in with all the madness - from the carousel to the silent disco. In the run up and following the wedding, Scott’s communication was clear and regular which meant we never had to worry about the choice we had made. The photos were stunning and when we look back at candid photos from guests and see Scott in them we smile and still talk about how fab he is. We would highly recommend Scott to anyone getting married in Kent!

Amazing wedding photographer!
We found Scott by chance just doing a Google search for wedding photographers in Kent. We immediately liked Scott’s style of photography, it was exactly what we were looking for and we we’re not disappointed! Our photos turned out even more amazing than we thought! Scott was great on the day, most of the time we didn’t even know he was there. One of our big things was that we didn’t want to be taken off for hours having photos taken and not spending time with our guests. Anytime we did go for photos Scott didn’t keep us long at all and got some amazing shots! I also had a bit of a dress malfunction and Scott had some safety pins to help with the situation. Scott made us feel really comfortable and we are so glad we chose him to capture our special day as he captured it perfectly! Scott sent us a sneak peak of our photos a couple of days after the wedding and from these we just knew we were going to love them all. We are still trying to decide on which ones to print! We would recommend Scott to anyone and would 100% use him again.

Just amazing

Photos to treasure forever
Scott captured our wedding at Howfield manor, he was brilliant on the day! Everyone felt comfortable around him and all our guests commented on how lovely he was.

SO happy with the service and the photos!!!
Scott did the photography for our wedding at the Old Kent Barn back in June 2022 and we are SO happy with everything he did for us! From our first zoom meeting with him until the day itself, he was always there to support and answer our many questions. On the day, he made us feel so at ease as he knew exactly where to be. Neither of us like our photo being taken but so often, we didn't even realise he was snapping photos!
The photos themselves are beautiful. Scott is amazing at getting action shots that make it so much easier to remember the day. From family members' first reactions to the wedding dress, to guests downing bottles of wine, Scott was able to capture the lot. Best photographer ever!
Scott what can I say… you were outstanding from start to finish, so calm, relaxed and exactly what we were looking for in someone to capture our special day. You went above and beyond to capture stunning natural photos, often when we didn’t even realise you were taking them! If you are looking for a photographer who is fun, friendly and takes amazing in the moment shots, this is your man. He even helped me to hook up my bustle when the bridesmaids couldn’t!
