Our photos really reflect how beautiful our day was! We were really lucky to have a sunny, autumnal day and the lighting has really beautifully been captured in our photos which is exactly what we wanted.

Kris and Jamila are not only experts with wedding photography but also with weddings in general!! They helped make sure the day ran smoothly too and put everyone at ease! Having our photos taken didn’t feel awkward, it was made to be a really nice experience!

One thing we loved was how our friends and family had some gorgeous couple photos taken, it’s such a special touch and was really appreciated by us and our guests!

Thank you both for being so friendly to our guests too, we had so many people tell us how great you were!

Choosing Kris and Jamila to photograph our day was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

We booked about 18 months before the wedding when they were doing a great deal for all day photography. We then had a zoom call a couple of weeks before the wedding and went over all the details and timings of the day.

Kris and Jamila both fitted perfectly into our day and it was like we had known them forever! We spent the whole day laughing. They were also knowledgeable about all things wedding, giving helpful advice throughout the day.

Kris had said the turn around was about 14-15 days which was true and our photos look amazing, every single special moment was captured and I honestly cannot thank both Kris and Jamila enough for capturing all the special moments of our day.

Wow what can we say, Kris shot our wedding on the 22nd June and the whole experience was professional and fantastic throughout.

We booked Kris back in September 2022 after coming across his Instagram page and loving his and his wife’s work. Booking process was really straight forward and got a really good deal. As the wedding grew closer we had a zoom call with Kris just to have a chat, meet him before the day and to run through some things for our day and if we had any questions. We clicked with Kris straight away and he had a great sense of humour.

On the day of the wedding Kris went above and beyond. Not only did he capture all the photos of our day but helped with so many things like cufflinks, looking after the rings, removing me from a stressful situation, setting things up to get the perfect picture and the list goes on. Kris was fantastic throughout the day with our friends and family and everyone found him professional and a good laugh at the same time.

We received our photos 2 weeks later in colour and black/white and they are absolutely beautiful. Kris said to us on our zoom meeting that it would be a 14/15 day turn around and he kept his promise.

We can’t thank Kris enough for the beautiful photos we have received. Would highly recommend to everyone!

Well overdue review - I can honestly say booking Kris for our wedding was the best decision. Nearing two months on you realise how precious moments of the day being captured right are, and Kris certainly did that. I initially chose Kris after seeing his story re posted by Lillibrooke Manor and I found his Instagram page; I loved his style of photography from the get go and made contact and discovered his pricing was incredibly reasonable! (which is so important when wedding planning, it all adds up!). We had a full days photography, option for a pre wedding shoot and 40 images photo album (which you get 12 months to decide for, so no rush) for all under 1k (I want to say approx £900). Kris was very helpful over emails and calls throughout and made sure every pre photography details wanted were handed over prior to the wedding and achieved. On the day he was simply fantastic! and so much more than a photographer. He really got involved with the day, helped with bits where needed and made everyone laugh so much, truly brilliant. I am so glad I chose Kris, was 101% the best decision we made. All of my guests complimented "the photographer" saying how funny he was and how he got everyone involved and relaxed. Kris's character is brilliant, his humor helped calm my pre ceremony nerves and the whole day I just felt confident and assured by Kris - he some how took a weight off of worrying about the little things. He is reliable, so you just knew the whole day everything you want for your photos will go right.
In regards to the actual photos they're perfect. Kris managed to capture every special moment of the day, there is nothing missing, every moment captured from important objects to key events. On his Instagram I really liked how Kris's photos always looked natural and not staged (if that makes sense) and he achieved this for us to, even managed to achieve a natural look to our posed photos on the grounds (which are some of our favorite shots).
Kris, we genuinely can't thank you enough. You made our day really special and the memories you captured we will hold dear for the rest of our lives. I know you set out into wedding photography due to your own experiences and wanted others to experience better, well for us you achieved the best (job well done). Kris was a fantastic photographer for our wedding and delivered a huge number of stunning photos to us. Not only that, he was a pleasure to have around on the day and managed to make a very nervous couple and some rather shy guests feel very comfortable in front of a camera! This is something we don't take for granted at all. Talking with him before the day was also great, he made us confident that all would go great on the day and it worked out exactly how we hoped in the end. Would definitely recommend him to anyone!

I was very nervous to commit to a wedding photographer initially after you hear of things going wrong but Kris Karl was one of, if not, the best booking of the wedding. Kris and Jamila were great at putting my mind at ease prior to the wedding, so detail oriented they do not miss a trick, so experienced and knowledgeable from finding the correct time, spot and angle for sunset photos to even pinning the buttonholes on the groomsmen when the pins went awol. They allowed us much needed moments away from the chaos to just enjoy our wedding day as husband and wife. So so much more than photographers. Lovely, friendly and professional people. They captured the day beautifully and the photos are perfect and I couldn’t have asked for more. Highly recommend to anyone and everyone!

I cannot recommend Kris and Jamila enough! We absolutely hate having our photos taken but they both made us feel completely at ease. We had a call with Kris before hand to run through the day and discuss any requests we may have had. We provided our must have photo lists before hand as requested to ensure we got everything we wanted.
Day of the wedding.. I did not have to worry at all, they were both there before me, already talking to the other vendors, scouting out places for pictures, some areas I didn’t know even existed but made for the most amazing pictures! They are both so funny and made it even more enjoyable, as well as making sure all the guests were in the right place for pictures which is never easy! They made sure we both got some time to take a minute and relax while making sure everything else was readyz We have some amazing pictures to look back on and I am so grateful. Thank you both so much!

Kris and Jamila were the highlight of our wedding. They made us feel so relaxed and we are thrilled with the results of our photos. Kris’ wit eased any nerves we were feeling and Jamila is a Queen when it comes to looking after your dress, flowers, train.. just everything.
Not only two of the nicest people you will ever meet but it’s so clear how much they care about the end results. They love their job and make every couple feel comfortable. I can’t thank them enough for making my dreams come true.

Two socially awkward people was always going to be a tricky wedding but we wanted to capture the most amazing day of our lives. We needed someone who was going to make the experience a lot easier when it comes to taking photos, and Kris did exactly that. He made us laugh continuously throughout the day, and fitted in along with our guests. He was both professional but a seriously funny guy who make the experience a lot less awkward! He captured the most amazing photos which we will cherish for a lifetime. Thank you Kris🙂

After meeting Kris & Jamila at our friends wedding and seeing the wonderful pictures they took for them, we knew that we wanted them for our wedding.
They were always amazing with communicating with us and we're on time.
They were both amazing at keeping us calm on the day, making us laugh and getting the most amazing pictures.
They included many personal photos including some of my ring which has my cats ashes in. I didn't ask for this, it was their idea and it really made my day.

A couple of years ago, I found them whilst scrolling through Facebook and they had this unbelievable offer. I was sceptical at first because it asked for all the money up front but I read the contract and signed it and paid.

Honestly it was the best decision I have made (after saying yes of course). Kris and Jamilla are hilarious together and make a wonderful couple but above all else they are both exceptional photographers. I could not fault them and all my guests commented on how truly wonderful they both were. They were indispensable, not only as photographers but also stepped in whenever an extra hand was needed.

We received our photos back in LESS than 15 days and are gobsmacked at how intimate some are and how they capture the light.

If you’re looking for some eccentric, lovely, genuine people who want the best for your day then choose this amazing couple. We couldn’t have asked for anyone better and in the future we will be using the two of them when we get our puppy and have children.

Kris and Jamila were fantastic beyond words! The pre-wedding meeting was thorough and Jamila (who held the meeting) was calm, reassuring and really friendly.
On the day, Kris and Jamila were perfect, their photography feels natural and never invasive. Kris has a great sense of humour; many guests commented on how amazing he was at making sure people were in the right place at the right time but in a light hearted way. Jamila is such a warm personality and felt like an additional bridesmaid who made sure everything was just right - helping me with hair and makeup checks throughout the day. The photos are beautiful and really capture the day. They were very promptly delivered both via an online link and USB. I would 100% recommend hiring this team.

Kris and Jamila were great from start to finish, both really funny and helped to put myself and my wife at ease on a very nerve wracking day! The photos came out amazingly and I would highly recommend these two to anybody! Thanks again Kris and Jamila!
