My background....
I photographed my first wedding back in 2009 and for the next few years I did wedding photography while running my own Hot Tub import business. I am now 100% wedding photographer and over the years done weddings all over the UK and Seychelles. Seychelles in where my wife is from and if you are looking for a stunning honeymoon destination I can certainly give you a few pointers here. I lived there for 5 years after we got married and moved back to the UK. We now have a baby daughter who has just turned 1 Year Old. I have won various wedding photography awards over the years and I am a fully qualified Guild Wedding Photographer.
My style of photography...
My aim is to capture the candid photos of your wedding day, capturing moments that you never thought happened. Creating a wedding gallery that tells the full story of your big day. I am relaxed and realise this is not a photo-shoot but your wedding day which you should enjoy. I am a fun, unobtrusive photographer that works with you to get the best photos. If you want to spend a lot of time on doing portraits then we will work this into our plan or if you would prefer more candid photos and less time spent on portraits then no problem. I am here to work with you to create a wedding gallery you will be super impressed with for years. If you want more dramatic photos where I will get creative with lighting etc we can certainly work this in to get the best out of your wedding day and show the best of what your wedding venue offers.

What does the wedding package include?
I offer 3 Wedding Photography Package starting at £495
How far in advance should I contact you?
Do not leave booking until the last minute. Normally I am taking bookings at least 12 months in advance
Do you cover more than one wedding a day?
No
Can you travel?
Yes, throughout the Northwest of England
What is the charge for travelling?
Travel is included within the package prices up to 30-mile radius from Burnley, Lancashire. After this, it would be charged at a reasonable price agreed depending on the package you are booking

What kind of technology do you use?
Digital
Do you use a specific technique or innovative approach?
I do not distract you or your guests from enjoying your wedding day. The best photos are taken when you don't know the photographer is there. Traditional Posed Photos are taken also to give a mix
What kind of equipment do you use?
I use Sony A7 Full Frame Cameras together with some off-camera flash units. Off-Camera Flashes are only used as a last resort as setting up flashes at the venue can take away from the design you have

Extra time is normally charged per hour, which is detailed out in the wedding photography contract

How do you work?
When booking your wedding photography with me, I produce a full wedding photography plan with contingencies, so that there are no surprises on the day. I visit the venue prior to the wedding day also

Wow wow wow
This supplier was incredible, professional friendly and engaging and from what we have seen so far from the pics of our wedding he is extremely talented and we are over the moon with them. Mark, we cannot wait to receive the full set of photos! You made it fun to have our pics taken and your rapport with us and the guests was spot on. You had a difficult job rounding everyone up but you were brilliant. Thank you! Highly recommend xx

Made the memories of our day Magical
Mark is a first class guy and an incredible photographer. We had the pleasure of having Mark photograph every part of our wedding from bridal prep in the morning to the cutting of the cake and last dance in the evening.
Matt captured every part of our special day, even the bits we didn’t realise ourselves until looking back. His creativity and ideas on how to create the perfect photo are second to none and we have memories to last a life time thank you to him.
He is incredibly punctual, professional and attentive. We have a massive family and he organised all 100+ of us brilliantly well when it came to our big group photos.
I would without doubt recommend him to everyone I hear who is getting married because he is just that great.

Absolutely brilliant

Our Special Day
Mark was our photographer at our Wedding on 08.10.2022 we had meetings before the day and Mark wrote down every last detail. On the day he arrived early and made us feel as ease, capturing the pre wedding piccys. He was stealth during the ceremony taking some beautiful photos.
We have just had our photographs sent to us and we couldn’t be happier, the colours are superb and a great variety from each section of the day. Definitely quality.
Mark has been in contact with us throughout the build up to the wedding and afterwards, nothing was too much trouble and communications were excellent. Always going the extra mile.

Friendly, professional and put us at ease
Mark was so friendly, communicative, extremely professional and creative with shots, finding the perfect shots to help us commemmorate the day and capturing precious moments with friends and family. My husband and I were really nervous about having professional photos on the day so we booked an engagement shoot prior and Mark was fantastic, guiding us and easily smoothing over any awkwardness we may have felt in the first instance. I would recommend Mark to anyone.

So glad we found Mark to capture our special day!
I cannot recommend Mark highly enough. We spent hours looking through photographers’ portfolios and Mark’s stood out a mile. Most of the shoot was on my family’s farm, a very special place. As he originally a landscape photographer he really understood the importance of the surroundings and managed to incorporate them beautifully.
Due to covid, our plans were forever changing and Mark was super flexible to accommodate any changes. He met us a few weeks before the wedding at the venue so we could discuss what we wanted and form a plan for the day, which he later wrote up and emailed to me. I felt that everything was taken care of and I didn’t have to worry that anything would be missing on the day.
We are absolutely thrilled with the outcome our photos and have also booked for next year when we have a big party! Thank you so much Mark! We have such beautiful photos which we will cherish forever.
