Owners Luke and Carl are a duo of award-winning photographers who have been in the business together for over nine years. They are passionate about capturing the love and beauty of each wedding. Together, they have documented weddings all over the UK. They bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to coordinating the perfect mementoes of your big day.
Services Offered
Lionize Weddings Photography specialise in contemporary, relaxed, fun photography and video. They know that no two weddings are the same, and they adapt their shooting style to suit your tastes. The duo realises that many people don’t feel confident in front of the camera. They aim to blend into the background of your celebration, capturing those candid, natural moments that make the sweetest keepsakes. Lionize Weddings Photography offer a range of packages tailored to suit the needs of each couple. Whether you wish to commemorate specific parts of the day or document the entire event, they will tailor their services to suit you. After your wedding, the team provides beautifully edited, high-resolution collections of your best images. These are available via an online gallery and USB, with the option of creating glossy printed albums. Videography packages are also available. Depending on your preference, Luke and Carl will create full films, highlight reels, and social media-ready clips. Absolutely amazing!!
We couldn’t recommend Luke & Carl enough!
From the moment they arrived on our wedding day they made us all feel so at ease, nothing was too much trouble and they listened to our requests and made sure we got all the shots we wanted. Luke worked with my maid of honour to gather all relevant people for the group shots really quickly and efficiently (when the groomsmen didn’t go missing) as we had said we didn’t want to be stood for a long period of time having photos, and then, we were able to enjoy the day with our guests and really don’t know Luke and Carl were still there... they just blended in!
From the moment of booking, communicating with Lionize weddings was effortless. Luke arranged a call to touch base, see how we were feeling, go through timings of the day and even arranged exchanges of presents between myself and the groom - he just made sure the day ran smoothly and there was no rushing about or questions on the day.
The sneak peak photos and videos we received THE NEXT DAY were amazing too!!
We just want to say what lovely people Luke and Carl are, this comes from not just myself and the groom but every single person they came into contact with on our wedding day.
We can’t thank you both enough.

Amazing, amazing amazing!
I was back and forth for a while about whether we needed a videographer for our big day and I’m so so glad we decided to go for it!
Luke and Carl are not both just amazing at what they do but also genuinely lovely people who made us feel so at ease on the day, nothing was too much to ask and they blended into the day so easily!

Amazing Videographers !
We had lionize for their full day package on 23rd August 2024 and couldn’t recommend them enough.
They were great from start to finish, with Luke being a life saver for the groom and groomsmen helping them keep calm and sorting buttonholes and finishing touches for them.
They were always quick to respond and professional throughout while making us feel at ease. We got our sneak peek within 12 hours and our full video back quickly, and loved watching it back with our family.
100% recommend!!

Absolutely Amazing.
''I cannot express enough how much I recommend Luke and the Team. Where do I start? He was on hand ALL DAY for anything we wanted snapping. Every single guest commented on how professional, friendly and how at ease Luke made everyone feel. He wasn't just "The Photographer", he was a guest at our wedding.
We recieved a handful of photos during the day to post on socials and then the remaining portfolio including the video of the day came a few weeks later and we were instantly reduced to tears with how well they had captured our special day. The photos are incredible and they allow us to relive our special day whenever we wish.
I knew Luke before we hired him but my bride did not and she could not believe how comfortable and at ease he made her feel. His dedication to getting the perfect shot is endless - constantly keeping an eye on the lighting, cloud cover, shadows, how the dress was situated and what random things I had in my pockets ha!

There is no way I will ever be able to thank Luke and Carl enough for how they have captured our wedding and turned them into such beautiful videos of memories we will treasure forever.

Both Luke and Carl made every one feel so relaxed from the minute they arrived at the wedding, from getting ready with the bridal party, to the ceremony, helping organise photos, through to the wedding breakfast and the evening reception.
Luke went above and beyond through the day, ensuring that whatever I asked for was taken care of. Unfortunately the support from the wedding venue towards our day was poor, Luke was there to support us in checking the rooms were set up perfectly and making sure everyone was where they needed to be at the right time. Amazing photographer and videographer!
We honestly could not have wished for anything more. Luke and Carl both worked so hard to capture every moment and thanks to their hard work and professionalism we have some very special and precious memories to cherish forever. Every time I look through all the photos and watch the videos it allows me to relive the day which puts a huge smile on my face!
And finding out that they’ve won yet another award this week doesn’t surprise me! This speaks for itself and is very well deserved, we honestly can’t recommend them enough.

Absolutely amazing!!!!
Luke is absolutely fantastic!!! He delivered exactly what i wanted (which was more spontaneous photos). He captured the emotions and moments in a very unique way. I`m extremely happy with the results and i can`t recommend him enough. He`s extremely professional, friendly and easy to deal with. 10/10!

Committed, Passionate and Professional
We booked Lionize Wedding photography and videography for our wedding this May 2023. They were fantastic, they arrived earlier than we expected and stayed later than we could have asked. They captured our day from start to finish. They caught a great mix of both of us and our friends and family! You can really tell how amazing out day was from both the photos and the videos! They were professional throughout and you didn’t even know they were there, but they still managed to capture they best bits! Nothing was ever too much trouble and you could tell they really wanted it to be personal to us! Luke even went above and beyond to do our pre wedding shoot at our venue as requested and also came to our house to give us all the footage in person with some lovely gifts! Thank you both so much!
